I can't get rid of that freakin' lute. Q_Q
Also, there's a book I was finding for some guy, but I'd already looted the chest, so I can't complete that quest, but I have two copies of the required book stuck in my inventory...
The frostbite spiders aren't difficult at all. I just Wuuthrad them to death. However, the fact that there is a SPIDER BIGGER THAN A HORSE charging at my face makes my heart stop for a few seconds. And whoever mentioned Frost Breath made me laugh. Frostbite spiders are immune to ice damage i believe
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
However, I don't want to mess with console, because that would screw up my Steam achievements.
Using the console has no effect on steam achievements. Not sure who started that rumor, but I've used the console for things like removing quest items and fixing other bugs (like the arrow trajectory) and I'm still getting achievements. I've even turned off clipping a couple of times when something was really broken.
It might be a different story if you enabled invincibility or something, but certainly not with the commands I've used.
Just leveled up to level 51. I can see next time through that I'll put more emphasis into enchanting. One thing that's ... not really annoying, just sort of surprising ... is how much cool stuff you can recover, and also how terrifying something is when you're level 10 and how un-terrifying it is when you're level 50.
I had entered a barrow that I simply encountered by walking by it early on in the game - the boss was one of those Draugur Death Overlords that also have shout. After me and Lydia (she was still alive then) died about four times, I said to heck with it, and left the dungeon. Just had to go back in there for a Daedric quest. Down in - and 3 arrow shots took him out.
Actually right now the only things that cause me trouble are ancient dragons - and as long I can distract them a little bit, even they're not too much trouble.
Oh, and right now I just leveled up to 51, I wear full Dragonscale armor (legendary) which, with enchanted rings and such gives me armor class 520, and I use a Glass Sword (legendary) enchanted with soul trap most of the time. My follower has gilded elven armor, dragonscale boots and gauntlets, and a glass helm and shield.
Heck, I just spent 45 minutes last night doing basic house keeping things - I have a bunch of potions I need to get rid of, a huge stock pile of weapons to sell.

Yeah, i'll surely forget how to enjoy Skyrim soon. Everything it's maxed.
Did you use the Infiniti Oghum cheat to get those?
Unrelated note - wow, just ... wow.
Supposed to be one of those seriously terrible fights - was just wandering around and found the lair of Hevnoraak, Dragon Priest. Approximately 70 glass and ebony arrows later (along with using two potions of increase marksman) ... well, that was easy. No reloads - barely had to do any healing at all. Draugur Death Lords and Death Overlords abound - pop, two, maybe 3 shots, they're dead.
Pesky thing when you level up enough that you CAN do stuff like this. I had a cave bear attacking me, just swinging for all it was worth - and either my block or armor level is just so high, it did almost no damage to me whatsoever. It's pretty bad when you use a CAVE BEAR as a restoration and block trainer (like we used to use giant rats or mudcrabs in Oblivion).
