'gg' is a common abbreviation used for the term, 'good game.' When i was in the Age of Empires community we used this a lot simply because when we played it was one 'game' and at the end, no matter what happened during the game, it was still a 'gg.' Here on Freelancer it is also used at times after a battle. Though mostly it's, 'gf.' Meaning 'good fight.' Which refers to the dogfight that just happened.

why are you upset now? I was simply asking you because, if the people from your AoE 2 community used it in the context you described, it made absolutely 0 sense. from that I concluded that either you or they didnt know what it meant, is all.
