Name: Rina Nishikawa
Age: 23
Ship: GMG|GTS-Shiretokoshari
Previous Occupation: Transport pilot and Station supplier
Background:
Rina Nishikawa was born on Planet New Tokyo. Her family was not rich at all, they had a small apartment in the Shibuya Dome. When she finished primary school, Rina decided to face a challenge and applied for the University of New Tokyo. She was very good at chemistry at high school, so she picked the Chemistry class. She got accepted and she started her studies. Nishikawa finished the University with a grade "Above Average" due to having a hard time learning all those elements and their details.
Right after leaving the University, at the age of 20, she got contacted by an old family friend who worked as a pilot for the IMG. The one gave Rina a job on a Train which was hauling ore to various places. She was very excited about her new job, but the enthusiasm flew away almost instantly when she got to know that she's going to clean the cargo pods. Rina has never been ungrateful, so she did her job well, cleaning those pods at all cost. The miner, who was the captain and the pilot of the ship, decided to "promote" Nishikawa. Because her lack of physical abilities, he ordered Rina to assist the people on the bridge. She loved the job, even though the people there were looking down on her.
At the age of 21, the captain of the IMG train Rina was employed on, got shredded to pieces by an outcast gunship squadron. Luckily, she was on vacation then so she survived. Few of the ship's crew managed to escape, the rest have been either captured or killed. She was saving money hard, so she could afford a small transport ship, a Drone. Rina started her own trade runs as a freelancer trader, she met many people and visited many systems. During her freelancer carreer, she got amazed by the beauty of the independent systems surrounding Kusari, the Sigmas. All those gas clouds and nebulas hiding many secrets and dangers. Despite the danger, a brave guild of people keep mining there, making money for their living. The Gas Miners Guild. Rina loved the main area of operations of those guys so she decided to contact them and apply.
Division Choice(s): Trade division/Mining division
Reason(s) for choosing to join GMG|: The Sigmas are beautiful, as I mentioned and it's very profitable working there, although I'm not here for the money. I'm here for the kind and honourable community.
Reason(s) for choosing to join the division(s) you picked?
I would like to be a hauler since I've been doing that lately and I loved it. I know a few things about gas mining aswell. I learnt those while I was studying at the University.

Name: Mioshi Hakamoto Age: 17 Previous Occupation: none before
Background:
I was born and educated at Gas Miner Naha and never much left the Sigmas except for some business trips to Rheinland with my parents. The family of the Hakamotos have been in the Gas Miners Guild for three generations and have taken pride in educating their children that the GMG line of business is no job, but a calling. I finished my formal education 2 weeks ago, I accomplished the training for the Garanchou and the Kaichou and I am proud to be finally able to serve in the Gas Miners Guild, given you find me worthy of joining.
Division Choice(s):
> Mining Division: Garanchou class freighter miner
> Object Security Division: Kaichou class bomber
Reason(s) for choosing to join GMG|:
Working for the GMG has been linked to the Hakamoto clan for generations. There is virtually nothing else that I want to do, nothing else I ever thought of doing.
Reason(s) for choosing to join the division(s) you picked?
> Mining Department: This is the life-blood of the GMG, this is where we come from. Only if we work and keep up our high standard of extracting the resource, the GMG will flourish and be able to exist in an ever shifting, complicated world. To achieve this, the Guild needs the dedicated worker. I am a dedicated worker.
> Defense Division: There are enemies of the Guild and they will try to harm us, to take away our untouched position in the Helium production. To those who want to harm us, there can only be one answer: resistance. This is why I applied and passed the bomber training programs and I want to be one of the daggers that stick in the lifeless bodies of those who want to exploit our efforts for their good.

I must admit, it's not every day that youngsters such as yourself request to join the Gas Miners Guild's Security Division. it's a great deal of danger, but the pay is even greater. I guess you figured that part out already. I'm glad to read that you're already accustomed to our Kaichou ships, so you'll have no problem adjusting with our bomber tactics.
By helping the Mining Division harvest gases, you'll earn a pretty penny there as well! I'll be looking forward to see you in space, Mioshi-san. We're glad to have another Hakamoto within our ranks. I'm sure you'll do your ancestors proud!
*A robotic voice asks for the name of the applicant in the application cabin, Naota and Mamimi fight to be the first to reach the mic and speak, finally Naota climbs on top of her shoulders and answers*
Konichiwa! I am Naota Nandaba, we decided to be honest so I will have to tell you that I was once part of the junior ranks of the Lane Hackers! I have nimble fingers with computers and like robots. Here with me is Mamimi Samejima, former spokesperson of a company named Lotus, you probably haven't heard of it. She had a short story in the Artisan Farmers Alliance, but she did not find a suitable haven between them. We are both escaping Haruko. Haruko Haruhara, that is. She runs that Lotus company and wants nothing but our utter doom!
*The robotic voice asks for their ages. Mamimi answers this time*
Konichiwaaaa robot-san! I like robots too! I am 18 years old, but lil Naota here is just 15! *she giggles while Naota's face turns into a tomatoe*
*The robotic voice now asks in which division they want to be, they both answer at the same time, somehow chanting the words*
We want to be miners! We bought Kkanchi the Kamome to be miners!
*The robotic would have facepalmed, if it had a face and a hand, but instead inquired about the reasons behind their choice, Mamimi takes care of it*
Guild Masters please accept us among you! We need to hide somewhere, and we hoped that being miners in the distant system of Okinawa we may succeed in it. We promise not to cause any trouble. We just want to be left alone.

Why did you choose GMG?
I was already mining h3 as indie, and felt like making it official and revive some 2 chars of mine that were left stranded.

I was sanctioned once in 2009 for using coarse foreign language against some OPG pilot in Gamma. I used to play with other spanish speakers grouped as HAF.
