ERm at certain point, game is just too easy. I kind of never want to play this sneaky archer everybody enjoys, Im the heavy armor with sword n shield guy, smash n bash things.
Even then, game is just too easy.
Nor to mention ability to craft weapons with 550 dmg and 1500 armor. Then you can train armor on giants.
I dont know, everybody is saying its the best game ever or something like that. I dont know but I got bored after two hours of playing it. It might be just a passage what is boring, but Im not feeling like continue playing it any time soon Q.Q
to be honest , after finishing assassins creed revelations i was kinda disappointed when i started playing skyrim , something about the movement of your character , and npc's , seems very static.
i love the way you can customise your character though ...
at the other hand , i've played all the elder scroll games , and they all amazed me ,

So what is so awesome about Skyrim?
Well, you may be the kind of gamer/player that my son is. He doesn't like the Elder Scroll type games because he's more of a Halo gamer - he wants to shoot up a lot of stuff.
What makes Skyrim - or Oblivion or Morrowind before that - so awesome is that, basically you have, effectively, a world to explore. Yes, I know that you really only get a province. But it's a BIG province. And there's nothing pushing you along, like there are in other games. Once you get through the opening screen, if you don't WANT to go to that little town first, you don't have to. You want to wander around, mining all the ore you can find, you can do that. You want to become a great jeweler, you can do that. You want to go pick all sorts of crops and become either a great chef or alchemist, you can do that. You want to become a sneak thief - or an assassin, you can do that.
Or you can just start right through the main quest, go blast things, and grind through that as quickly as possible.
The choice about your game play is up to you. As Dash so succinctly put it:

My problem is that I'm up to level 53 or so, my archery skill with magic is well above 100, my block is about 90, my one handed is about 90, my light armor skill is about 90, and with perks, my base armor class with a shield is about 510. I'm of half a mind of saying screw you, Ulric Stormcloak - I'M the new King. (Well, Queen, since I'm playing a female character, but you get my drift.)

Only 510?:Dat that level. J/k, you can probably easily get some 1-1.5k

I like the story somehow. But hate other things. See lower.

The game is static. Rebellion, World eater and everybody else just waaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiit for player to move his sorry butt. I like my Nord though, looks!
All I remember of Skyrim is that I fought for the Empire, finished that questline.
Did some Dark Brotherhood stuff, was not impressed.
Did a bunch of other random stuff, and followed the main quest right up to the last part, and then I quit Skyrim because it got reeeeeeally uninteresting to me.
