This is not an inrp discussion, so how bout we leave the inrp commentary at the door. Attack the corporations of a Country, when they are breaking no law, and it is the governments responsibility to respond. To suggest that this was limited to a conflict between Samura and the GMG is disingenuous.

They were breaking a law. Samura was caught smuggling artifacts.

Shouldn't Rheinland be at war with Kusari then for the hundreds of Daumann ships blown up by the Hogosha? Or do these kinds of interactions not matter when you're killing un-represented indies who don't understand the warp and weft of the forum.

Actually it's common practice of House intelligence agencies and House privateers to blow up ships belonging to allied house.

No evidence was given to the Kusari government of that until well after the fact, and the ships that were blown up during the blockade of Kurile were 100% not carrying artifacts.

And why do you think if that is what happened, that those factions didnt go to war with Kusari?

I'm not in RP. It's me talking about the GMG RP as well as the Kusari RP. The hostile view of Samura currently remains but I'm not done reading all that has changed in the lore yet. Game mechaics also haven't changed as the autorep is still on painting Samura red to GMG ID.

Well, if you look at Dusty's comment I was responding to, he asked why Rhienland wasnt at war with Kusari. If you want to ignore the context, thats fine. Or you can get the context, either way, it doesnt matter to me in the slightest.

As for what the GMG and Samura think of each other? Well I can't expect any love lost there!

That's fairly cheap, actually. If that's the case, I'd at the very least expect a public announcement to that end, instead of the various conflicts just scuttling off stage-left and hiding under the carpet. The GMG/Kusari conflict was non-lore, so you can't really use news articles alone to justify ending it. It really wouldn't be hard to fix. Grab the leaders of Kishiro, GMG, KNF and Samura, stick them in a Skype chat.

Now write a public news article to the extent of "GMG given an amnesty due to the tyrannical [inRP criticisms] of the old Samura regime." Then either slap a fine on Samura (which would have to be worked out in that Skype chat), which would further the ire between Samura and Kishiro and probably lead to increased political Hogsha/FA activity. Easy.

You can't just ignore stuff like this. As I said earlier, doing so is cheap.

Is that the case, or is that what we should expect when it is announced? I think the Kusari government probably needs to get it's ducks in a row.

Thats because you askeed about companies complaining to Kusari about it, to which I responded the only people who did that was the IMG and CR, both after they invaded Kusari, I asked you for any other example to back up your comments, there have been none given.
