She does have a orange glow effect but it's just badly done and make it look too much of a cut out.

Too much text! I'd say either remove the blurb, or make it very small and fit on one line on the bottem of the image banner. Simplicity = Awesomeness.

Other than that, I love the logo and the fact it has all the house flags in it:)
