"As far as i know, there has been experiments with an experimental defense grid in New York system. However, this grid appears to have a failure, which led to the destruction of a Liberty Dreadnaught, the "Death Valley" in high orbit over Manhatten.

This picture was taken shortly before the liberty capital ship blew up. It came to this incident cause two Rogue gunboats attacked the ship, which was barely able to defend itself. Many crewmen have probably died in that attack, but as a matter of fact i was able to track the escape capsule of the fleet admiral, which was captured by the liberty rogues though.

with that in mind, i hope that the defense grid experiment will soon lift again - or we might see more attacks like this in the very future. It is obvious that that liberty rogues are not a group of petty criminals anymore, but a major thread towards the safety of Liberty. Once the defense grid experiment ends, the guild will gladly offer their assistance against such criminal elements.

Today criminal smuggler vessel Ferongr was destroyed carrying Counterfeit Softwere in the California system. The scum opened up fire on myself and LSF Agent Black Wing. Upon his destruction LPI bosses advised this criminal was badly wanted by Bretonian authorities and was to be extradited along with other prisoners bound for Bretonia.

The Fort Know prison liner set of with LSF Agents Gothiclord, Pluto.LF and myself as escorts. In the Cortez system scouting the route ahead towards the Manchester Jump Point the lane was hacked and I came under immediate fire. It was an ambush! How the Benitez family new of this transfer is a worrying security leak and placed Agents in danger.

The Prison liner and her 2 remaining escorts arrived before I could warn them off as I dodged the punishing tracers that danced fiercely around my hull. On the Fort Knoxs arrival fire let up and our 3 fighter concentrated on the Gunboat. Alas the Fort Know came under heavy fire and I surrendered before her crew and the prisoners were killed. The Corsairs docked on the Liner and extracted the fugitive but were forced to leave quickly as our forces mobilised in the California system.

The Fort Knox returned to LA for repairs and to unload the remaing prisoners who will be transported at a later stage when repairs are complete. Thank the Gods every Agent did their duty and we all made it back alive and with our vessels intact.

Seeing as I worked a late shift, I'll present all the facts to see, in black and white:

A rogue pilot in a Loki light fighter engaged my recently fitted Ravens Claw. He was throwing everything he had at me, full guns, sunslayer torpedo's, nuclear mines, the works. He didn't even down my shield before he ate a minirazor.

Smuggler with 3600 units of Cardimine, persuaded to drop all cargo. Contraband destroyed on the spot, pilot apologetic and issued a warning. No further action, as disposal of contraband was completed without a single shot either way.

Other smugglers, Planetoid Express and LightManTrader, confirmed to be carrying Cardimine. Former escaped capture, the latter tried to penetrate Liberty twice. Never got to his destination, either time. Cardimine not destroyed in target's destruction, disposed of on the spot.

All to report for now.

As an addendum, I concur with Phil Rocconan's recomendations while the Liberty Penal Code is still in the final stages of completion. If fines are paid before then, scratch from the list. If fines are not, then they will likely be increased. I seemed to remember a 100 million credit fine for quite a few things on that list....

Im sorry to say that as of two days ago, the Chattanooga was destroyed while escorting LR Commander Felix Valdar to Los Angeles for termination. Our convoy was ambushed. The crew of the Chattanooga iced two of the enemy pilots. The ship was destroyed when the LR Flagship Graviton showed up and pounded us with its batteries. All the crew managed to eject. None were lost. Currently the sister ship of the Chattanooga, the Longbeach is undergoing final construction at Norfolk. Hopefully she wont be as plagued by weapons malfunctions as the Chattanooga was. Myself and the rest of the crew are on shore leave.

Third i suggest a three Pronged strike, with fleets entering new york through the three Jumpgates.
I am transmitting this message from The Missouri, i was there at the bar when New york was seized. Unfortunately my ship was undergoing repairs and could not be launched. I believe we still have some agents trapped on manhattan including the gunboat Longbeach.
Recommend a strike to extract them.

We were ordered to suspend all traffic coming in and out of ZONE 21 (Alaska minefield) by Liquid, I was curious as to our disposition on the matter (in full)? Are we to engage those who flee without any exceptions..?

I wasn't sure on our policy for dealing with such things. I allowed a Zoner transport passage as he was hauling precious food items (though I told him that he could not use that route anymore), but aside from that the gate has been locked down rather tightly for the past 24 hours.
