I do like it better now then the 'too texty' one, yet I find it an improvement of the 'old' one.

Increase the Bird's Size. Doesn't matter if it sticks out of the Globe. Probably get rid of the Shadows too.

The criticism:

1. Globe's color should be blueght blue
2. The Globe's medians look messed up in some places
3. The lower part of torso looks bad. The waist cloth and the legs should be worked on. The upper body looks good, don't change it.
4. Add more crack lines to the rock (just 2-3 more, perhaps 1 longer 1)
5. If you want to use shadows, that is fine, but make them consistent. For example, the rock's shadow drops 90 down, but the shadow from the raised hand is 90 to the right. The body shadow and the lower hand shadow are missing. I would suggest making rock's shadow 90 to the right, so it doesn't appear floating. Blur shadow more, so they are not that sharp.

Good things:
1. The over all idea is interesting.
2. The bird idea is awesome.

Kind of ran out of compliments here...

Some ideas:

1.Make the bird look more "streamy", the bird should look speedy, as if it is dropping down with a great speed.
2. Try cutting down the bottom part of the globe at the bottom edge of the rock, making the rock and the dude bigger.
3. Try making the globe tranparent 50%, just to see how it would look like.
4. Try giving the medians a 3px glow.

Now about my own impression of the image:

The "Prometheus initiative", the word "initiative" gives me a sense of being pro-active, active, assertive, aggressive. The body language of the Prometheus is very passive. The whole images does not look like the word "initiative", if you understand what I am trying to say. You can change the hand position to somewhat "attacking" style, perhaps adding a lightning (the Zeus style outline lightning), it would yield more feeling of activity. Right now the whole image radiates passiveness, instead is needs to radiate energy, activity, streaming will, etc.

Some very great ideas, thanks alot guys! I'm working right now on resizing the bird, and re-angling it's wings to give it more of an 'in-flight' look. In the mean time, I just updated my old and rather dreadful "Never Again" LWB sig. It was the first signature I ever made for discovery, so I hope it shows that my rather meager photoshop skills have improved at least somewhat during my time here.
