Easy:

/fi blah - this puts you in a group, even if nobody else joins it.

/leave - this removes you from your group (which will only contain you), and clears the missionbug

This makes it possible for someone to clear their own mission bug, not someone else's, obviously.

You can also just use the /i with your own ship's name. It says "you can't invite yourself" but it still puts you in a /leave'able group.
