Some of the people who have come to join the Guild have been former prisoners, or people escaping their past. In order to be a part of the GMG you need to understand two things:
Firstly, whatever mistakes you have made in the past are your responsibility alone. Should Bounty Hunters be looking for you, or if you have outstanding warrants among our trade partners - we need to know about it now. We might even be able to help settle any outstanding matters against you.
Secondly, many people come to us looking for a fresh start. We have refugees who settle among us because they have nowhere to go back to. Ultimately, you will be judged by us according to how you conduct yourself among us. If you carry the flag for the Guild, that is whom you represent - and no other.
So unless there are any outstanding arrest warrants against you, I would welcome you into the Guild. Please take the time to read more about the Guild, its history and what we represent. Also be sure to follow correct naming convention for your mining and/or trade vessels.

Background:
With very little experience in outer space, I come from humble beginnings to create a new beginning. I hail from Planet New London in Bretonia, where I have spent much of my time. I figure that now is the time to take hold of my life and begin creating a reputation worthy enough to be known across all the systems. Everything is anew to me, and at times overwhelming. But I know that everyone begins somewhere and I wish to take my first steps into this universe with the Gas Miner’s Guild.

Now if you wish to join the Commerce division, i am happy advise you on ship choice. We have a certain naming convention.
Trade vessels are generally designated GMG|GTS-[name] A lot of people have Kusari heritage, and use geographical features of ancient Japan as names. Might not be so appealing to a Bretonian though i imagine.
Mining vessels are designated GMG|MV-[name]
Paramilitary ships are simply GMG|[name]
It would be helpful if you had access to Skype-protocol for the purpose of instant messaging. We use it to coordinate our efforts, and generally help each other out.
We can also give you the password that will allow you to rename your ship - so you can fly our flag with pride. Once your ship is tagged GMG| , you will also get docking rights to all our private base facilities, and also anywhere else we have docking rights.
Background: Kyohei Tanaka was born and raised aboard a Kusari freighter and was raised to live the life and values of the Kusari people. At the age of 9 while on a routine trade route the ship was viciously attacked by a wing of Samura raiders. The ship was leaking coolant, oxygen and all but one life pod remained operational, and seeing as how the weapons systems had been knocked out with the first volley there didn't seem to be any way to survive. As his parents were trying to shove a panicking Kyo into the life pod a hail came over the comms that simply said, don't even think about it Sumura trash. the raiders were fought off in a matter of seconds and the saviors turned out to be none other than a small GMG mining convoy that didn't really seem to be a match for the raiders they had just moments beforehand easily defeated. The convoy offered protection to the nearest base and afterwords went on their way. Kyohei decided on that very day that when he came of age, he would swear his life to the GMG and hopefully one day get to meet the captain of that convoy.
Kyo is 18 years of age with deep green eyes and light blue hair with a bright red stripe on one side, he also has a traditional Kusari tattoo going from his neck down his left arm that looks like a wing that is painted with ceremonial paints that cause it to glow a slightly blueish purple that kind of swirls around as if its moving. Due to this rarely preformed ritual, Kyo has sworn to never cover or alter his tattoo so he wears a black leather jacket that has only its right sleeve and a decorative strap that goes over his left shoulder. Hes often found at at the Ogashawa bar playing poker with his GMG coworkers, that sometimes slip him a drink or 4 when hes not winning to much. Though hes only 18 hes able to drink with the best of them without even getting the slightest bit tipsy and the other GMG employees often give him hell about the fact that after a night of 20 shots of saki, he wakes up bright eyed and bushy tailed without even the smallest of hangovers. he has figured out that his GMG friends have a running bet on who can get Kyo drunk first and have even made a game out of it though it the bet been running for almost a year and the pot has only gotten bigger, what his coworkers don't know is that he was born with a natural immunity to alcohol which he uses to his advantage at the card table. He has a fondness that borders on obsession with his Anki Freighter designated the Nirai Kinai GMG trade vessel because it was his first ship and he will never get rid of it even if the engines start to fall off. His parents were against it at first but eventually grew to understand that to him it was a matter of honor and that he would let nothing stop him from fulfilling the debt that he had in his heart, because were it not for the GMG he would have grown up without his beloved parents if he managed to survive at all.

Reason for chosen GMG division: Mining is a what the convoy that saved my family was all about therefor i felt obligated to follow that course of action and trained myself in said field.

Current Server Factions: I am currently in talks with the USI faction leader to become one of their trusted traders... but that is a different character.
My personal RP Rating (1-10): I would say a solid 8 seeing as how i dont like to fool around with OOC when RP.

i agree with and do promise that should i break the GMG faction Rules of Conduct Guidelines that i will imedeatly relinquish my GMG tag at the request of the faction leaders.
It can be a hard life out there as an small-time freighting family. Hispanic raiders, and other thugs hired by Samura are always on the lookout for easy prey. You are fortunate that the Guild does not stand idly in the face of this kind of criminal activity.

Many years ago, on the mod 4.85, I was 14 years old (real age), I couldn't speak English very well, I couldn't Roleplay either, so I had many sanctions back than, for I didn't know why, now I know !
