Uhm. I realize I'm at no position to really say this, but I think I speak for most everyone here when I say..
Lock the thread, and SMI Great Fox contact garrett jax or another admin politely in PMs or on skype so this can be sorted out. Now here's another suggestion.. When talking to the admins, first ask the question if your tech will be fixed in the next update or the final update. If not, explain politely why it should be fixed so that it can be. Next I also suggest (and this is just my personal suggestion) that you do in fact apologize for the past and present behavior. Regardless of RL issues, just do what Garrett Jax says and simply say "sorry, we messed up." And just try to get your activity up with the members you have active currently. If you're unable to, welp... Oh well.
The thing you guys are doing wrong right now is not humbling yourself. Even if you are right, even if you've been frakked by the ID system, even if the admins are completely wrong, you don't argue with the man. They have been given authority and rightfully so. YOU must present yourself in a more DELICATE manner in order to get what you want. I mean heck, you never know, your ID and tech issue might be fixed in the next update and all will go well with activity.
EDIT: Perhaps I am over-exaggerating... but you get the idea. And the frustration is clearly visible soooo. :/

How about not getting so mad about "not being able to use your special equipment"? You're still very much able to use everything, only with a reasonable nerf. If it's not for the roleplaying aspect of these ships, it must be for the PvP bonus you would gain while flying it, because why else would you be so bothered about it?
You also claimed the Jaguar was a bad ship. I've been flying the Jaguar Noir (which only seems to have reduced armor), and except for the in my opinion crappy placement of the torpedo slots, it handles exactly like a bomber should handle, if not better than that. Yes, it tends to get shot down easily by fighters and gunboats, but gunboats and fighters are supposed to do that to bombers. It just seems like an excuse to get your other toys in play.
The Brigand HF IS powerful. I used to fly one quite some time ago and I did pretty damn good with it without even firing once.
As for Brigands guns - yes, they are pretty much lame. BUT, you can use Council guns without any nerf, and Council guns are one of the best guns in discovery.
As for the Gunboat - If you don't like it I would gladly switch Council Prelious with it. Brigand GB -is- powerful. Very powerful. Just turret steer
L'ane - L'ane did lose it's ability of being a pirate transport Gallic-made, though now you have the Gallic Battletransport that can be used for that goal quite easily in my opinion.
As for the activity-thing with being AFK in space - That one was quite low, that all I have to say on the matter.

I'd like to thank you for that piece of feedback too, DRV. That's the way I'd like the issue to be resolved. In fact, I'd gladly do that myself on +LE+'s behalf (as the current second in command).

Yet, Ivan, you can scroll through my posts above, I tried to be as reasonable as possible (include what I told you in Skype as well).
My advice? Stop blaming lack of GRN ships for your nonexistent activity and get some grip. You are not alone who has a problem with it, but other factions don't do such a drama of it.

I'll just state my point of view on the matter, alright? Firstly, I can understand the frustration of certain people (not only the members of +LE+, but also the members of other factions, the write-ups of which include unique tech combinations) concerning the technology nerf system that has been recently introduced. Yes, it hasn't affected me much (as it happens, all my chars were using either pure faction tech, or green-celled tech; I also never used the Lynx, even in 4.85, when +LE+ were official and could use it in accordance with the approved faction write-up).
There were threads made by certain members of the community, and that already resulted in long discussions. I think I'll tell you the household truth of some sort when I say that certain ships and equipment are bought by people to be actually used. And I am one of those who believe that PvP is an actual part of RP.
I guess you could remember someone saying: "But it's our RP to fly ships from various factions and pew stuff" (I didn't type that quote to the letter, mainly because finding a quote in a relatively old thread is a pain; just in case, this isn't the quote of +LE+ member) but assume you get the point.
I honestly don't care that much about whether we get the GRN tech or not (simply because I myself only used it on +LE+ when +LE+ were a GRN player group), but should other factions, which have access to certan tech according to the write-ups, get the problems with the tech nerf fixed, I honestly don't see the reason not to deal with our case as well.
Yes, that's just my opinion on the matter, and I hope I'm being reasonable.

Well, I myself like both the Jaguar and the new Eclipse, but tastes differ. And as for getting "other toys in play", I hope I've answered that above.

There is no need to repeat something that has already been discussed. Bret stated his point. It's your decision to believe or not to believe him. The rest will be settled with the Admin team, hopefully. And yes, while we are at it, I am sorry that the things have gone that far.

I know, Tim, but you see, the reason I started it all is not to scroll back, merely because there were quite a lot of posts, including the answers of the other +LE+ members. That's why I'd rather have the questions directed to me, so that I can answer them. And yes, I'll talk to you on Skype right now.
