Mr. and Mrs. Doe,

The cooperation that has replaced animosity between us in the past few weeks has been nothing short of spectacular. In a short amount of time we have delivered several hundred thousand units of Helium-3 to Pittsburgh and your refineries, and with Doe Industries Star Port now coming online I expect the volume will increase dramatically. This leaves us with a difficult situation in the transportation department though. The route between Okinawa and New York is perilous at best, and at the whim of the Kusari government, who have blockaded Okinawa before.

I've been thinking, and a Deep Space Engineering constructed ship could easily solve our transportation problem, and increase our delivery capacity dramatically. While these capital vessels are usually produced for the Liberty Navy, I am sure that working together we could convince them to allow one or two to be put into corporate hands, and serve to ferry both Interspace and DSE transports full of Helium-3 back and forth between Okinawa and Pittsburgh to service your expanded refining capacity and provide cheap, efficient H-fuel for Liberty.

In addition, our bases regularly come under attack by criminal warships, as I'm sure Doe Industries Star Port will as well. Since it seems they'll give a battleship to any captain with a pulse, we need something capable of combating them. Our Ageira-made Havoc MkII's are good, but cannot do enough to defeat a swarm of warships, as was demonstrated during the siege of Port Smallwood. Even one or two ships could make a huge difference in the battle, firing from afar while the bombers swarm.

I believe that working together on this could benefit us both, not to mention the billions that would have to be paid to your company for the construction of such a vessel. I will be anxiously awaiting your reply, and to hear your thoughts on this matter.
