True dat.

I would like to see some new star spheres the current ones bug me so much I have the stars turned off most of the time...

Anyone noticed the 'join' between the edge of the star sphere or perhapse that group of 4 stars that looks EXACTLY like the back end of the Hagemon :S

Some of the systems in Discovery quite literally blow me away though:)

We could do realistic.

A sun would encompass almost the entire current New York map. Planets would be so big that we'd need HUGE textures for them. Lanes could not exit at planets since planets orbit the sun. All asteroid fields would be rings, with clusters here and there.

But frankly, all that is kinda blah. Lot of work, and it'd make playing the game less enjoyable I wager. So let's not.

Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.

The planet textures could still be bigger if you ask me. Blotchy squares of blue and brown aren't exactly pretty.

Honestly, if we wanted to do it that way? Make it like X3. Stars and planets are a long, long way away- and stations make up most of it. But then it would be X3, not Freelancer...

I wanna go play X3 now. Damnit.

A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
