I'm looking forward at what is going to happen, if Rheinland decides to hit Bonn station and remove IC from their house then the maintenance of their tradelanes will not get done. DSE does it now because IC pays the bills for it.
Synthfoods could go all out on a libertonian rage and cut off planet berlin and most of the house from most of their food supplies. Lets not forget that synthfoods has around an 80% of the foodmarket in their control and their bribes of the rheinland governement workers and politicians allows them to do almost anything they want.
There are planets outside of stuttgart that support food production but if you look at their LORE they are not allowed by the governement(synth bribing).
Rheinland is dependant on Libertonian corporations to keep functioning effectively. Their Infrastructure and their food supplies are maintained by Libertonian companies. They don't have the knowledge nor the capabilities of changing this in a short term.
There used to be pictures here
once known as Richard Farbridge, OBE and Ronaldo Benitez
I just wonder now, why Ageira, which is conveniently pure Libertonian, wants to help Rheinland to stand a chance during finance crisis. Once IC| was shoved in the face with claims that IC are more multi-national than Libertonian, yet this happens...

I saw that the Bundestag has approached Ageira in reference to this. Currently, DSE) is sitting back, waiting to see who plays what hand.
We're at a bit of a dilemma, that is that DSE and IC relations have drifted apart, and if anything IC are distancing themselves from Liberty. I am torn between siding with a bunch of snobby rich pricks, or the House our nation is at war with.
DSE won't fix the lanes for free, but however we don't need to be paid in cash either.
I guess I will leave it to see who approaches us first. At the end of the day for us, IC can't offer us anything better than Rheinland. Play spin the bottle, see who we're gunna kiss and make <strike>out</strike> up with.

That might be interesting discussion.
No one said we're out to help Rheinland;)
Edit: You have no way of knowing who we're out to help or hinder... until it happens.

If Synth Foods pulls their card, there won't be Rheinland the next day. Fortunately however, the current Synth Foods is an unofficial faction, thus unable to dictate lore on their own.
