@Tupac: several BAF players went after that base, because it was a corsair base in cambridge, not grief.

And having an opportunity for revenge if it's the result of RP is not bad, but is that what happened today?

I'm sure it says somewhere "treat somebody in the way that you wish to be treated". By now, people should expect to get treated this way. I sure do, since even if I'm minding my own business, I'm treated this way.

Also read between the lines and you will see the relevance of the quotes.

Edit: BAF's actions prove otherwise Caesero, but we'll have to agree to disagree.

So, what you are saying is.... you want admins to unmount your armors and send you right in front of planet manhattan, and letting everyone know about it by posting it on forum so they can simply go there wait for you to log and take the armor from you?

If they deserved to be punished, it should be done as it always is, not by giving the chance for a stupid OORP revenge.

EDIT: The majority of BAF players didn't choose to invite the hessians, the majority of BAF players were there long before the hessians. I hope those who decided to invite the hessians take responsability for it.

If that were the case I wouldn't be as so foolish to jump into a system filled with 15+ people who I just pissed off the previous day. *shrugs* Might just be me... but I would you know wait... Common Sense eluded some people and it cost them as much or even greater than it cost the Corsairs for the base.

That shows that a) You have no idea how much it costed that base to be built.
And b) That you care little about the RP, and just wanted to have your revenge satisfied for the harm you think you suffered.

You should re-read the sanction.

They were sanctioned not for destroying the base, not for making the corsairs lose money or time building that base.

They were sanctioned because they did it grouped.

Its the underlying reason for them doing it grouped that's irked people.

I was there as the Hessians came, but I had to leave due to RL.

The HESSIANS might have had an underlying reason, but the BAF/BPA/BIS reason was pure and simple.

You have a base in our system. If it had been Hessian, it would have died the same. if it was Molly, prolly the same.

If it was GRN, same reason.

I'll leave it at that.

Ehh isn't the underlying reason the fact that there was a hostile corsair base in a bretonian system?

If that's what irked people.. well..

Why is grouping such a big deal, anyways?

I think it's because it's simply good evidence of 'allying.' Even if it's not In-RP technically, it's still evidence.

EDIT: Well.. maybe that doesn't work. I think the admins would need to sort this out and add clarification to it. 'Cause you could be on your rogue char and in a group with someone from the LN just 'cause your friends. That doesn't mean you're 'allying.' I suppose it's a matter of opinion and perspective...
