I heard salamancas are dealing 575 damage for 155 energy. I really dont see why you guys are not happy with the another epic gun you have? Before you say something let me tell you that in 4.85 ultra sunrails drained 140 energy per shot for 540 damage. Nobody used them cuz a templar with 12,400 energy is going to 0 energy pretty fast. Considering the Titan have 15'000 energy, to mount weapons dealing "nomad-like" damage for only 155 energy is fair and square.

Omicron Kappa is a great place to farm for those. I had a few on my zoner liner, too bad I sold them ^.^

yes those will work on TITAN

some of us prefer flying the other corsair snubs, like Decurion, Centurion and Gladiator... Fact is, NONE of those ship will be able to handle that drain at all...

and dont call that nomad, if that had been "nomad like" it would be 96 energy pr shot not 155.

Hello, use some Salamanca mk1 for those (mixed with some mk2 for best results probably). It got damage boost too if you actually take a look.

I'm going to agree more tweaking could and should occur here, however I think it should be to the other Corsair ships, not to their guns.

Every HF or VHF with small power generator would suffer from quick drain indeed. That is why do what blodo already stated: use low ranks 8 instead of 9 since their damage was buffed as well.

Ignore the nomad blasters which are another story.Nomad Lasers that are dealing 590 damage have 120 energy use per shot not 96.

Comparing all "most powerful" guns with the current salamanca can reveal the energy drain is a bit a lot but still fair considering the 15k core:
-Black Widows: 585 d. for 185 e. 699ms 4.00 refire (eagles and sabres? - low core)
-Salamancas: 575 d. for 175 e. 600ms 4.00 refire (titans - huge core)
-Trefoil: 580 d. for 145 e. 600ms 4.00 refire (werewolfs -huge core and greyhound - low core)
-Reaper: 560 d. 133 e 600ms 4.00 refire (nephthys -huge core baster -low core)

p/s: and you re-read the posts of others before using the epic word "whine" cuz what I am doing is explanation:)

Er, if by finetuned you mean nerfing it by 2/3, I guess...

My BS is now consuming 3 deut per second instead of 1.. Which means of the 730 fuel I can carry, I waste 180 of it just charging the thing and then only have 3 minutes of cloak instead of the 11 I had before. 3 minutes of cloak isn't enough to do anything, really..

Indeed I noticed it too, so far they were only useful on battleships anyway, and with this further nerf, I don't really see the point in mounting them anywhere else now, what was the reason for it?
I thought you would tune light or medium ones, since they were the one useless, but ehh seems their reason to exist is only cosmetic, and money sinks, not for actual practical use...
