Fletch@

Well, you Blitzkrieged us with the British. So Kudos for that

Looking forward to next one.
As I said, continuing the attack would have been too costly, but in hindsight, should have attempted it since my defences were pretty secure.

I don't know. Imo, you should've continued. I mean, teschy's base was completely gone. If you had run into my base and hulldowned, I wouldn't have been able to use my Hummels. And just two Panthers aren't that much, since I was at my pop cap limit..

Two Panthers are everything if the enemy has armour, they gain huge damage bonuses' against them. Two Fireflies both >30% are no threat to two Panthers, despite the 60% Crocodile Churchill on station. I knew I couldn't push my luck, but unfortunately for me, I couldn't fully lock down the defeated base nor the Pioneer spam.

Be glad I had no real support, an AI on easy that didn't always reply to my commands helped you. Imagine, USA player that deployed AT teams WHERE I wanted them, rather than random.

Manpower was my downfall, damn the British requirements, but makes sense. My units were more powerful in my attacks, but once beaten down, I deserved to be punished. It took the entire match for the pair of you to grow balls.

Well, it was an intense match. You had the initiative for most part of it. What was decisive, I think, was team play. The fact that you couldn't coordinate with your team mate dragged you down. Although you almost owned us single handedly, so yea XD

Thing is, we had no defensive units at all. And you basically trenched in behind the river. Remember, I tested the water a bit (sent 4 Panthers over) but I was very quickly sent back. You had 17 pounders raping our armour, machine guns, mortars and some 25 pounders. No way for us to break through that. That, until I farmed enough points to unlock the Hummels:D

I did what I could lad!

Also, NEVER ever ignore a AVRE Churchill, at first you both relied on your bunkers, then I'd stroll in and lol when I one hit them to death:P

Wish I had a team-mate:(

EDIT: You COULD break through, and break through very well, one 17 pounder against four Panthers, means certain death for me. You know why? Your Panthers had an engine, you could have move your Panthers behind my AT-Gun before I could mirco-manage it to rotate.

The primary weakness of the British, is anti-tank. One can be flanked, one can be swarmed. If you ever see two Fireflies with a Command Tank and maybe a Cromwell, you're in trouble if they hull down.

On the attack you always had the advantage since I couldn't counter your three Hummels at all. As I whined several times in the game, if I went Artillery tech tree, you wouldn't stood a chance.

Oddly enough, despite us having lost a lot of territory and being constantly beaten down, we didn't really have resources issues (of course, we weren't forced to mount huge offensives). I still found your defensive to be very hard to push through. Which is why we were taking our time to prepare a good offensive (I was saving for my arties). But you blitzkrieged us first and caught us with the pants down D:

Regardless, I hope next time Francesco will join us, so we can have a proper 2v2.

Yeah, I didn't close my defences proper, my manpower issues were crippling, when you could summon a pair of panthers easily since you were able to stockpile manpower no problem since you could stockpile that.

My ammunition and fuel was very well stocked, manpower... killed me. It was vice-versa for you since I let you get to that point in the tech tree. 1000 manpower for two Panthers? Damaging against the 800 manpower per Crocodile and 450 per Firefly.

In my mind, your manpower conversion was more effective.
