Melodeath patriarchs from Gotenburg scene. One of the most awsome choruses I've ever heard. The whole composition and idea are nice also.

Dark tranquility - The mundane and the magic

Another melodeath band from Swedan. I find them awsome because of very melodic guitars and great solos, sometimes resembles classic heavy metal.

Arch enemy - Revolution

My personal favorite band is from Gotenburg (Swedan) as well. In some sense reminds of Dark Tranquility, alltough these guys aren't afraid to experiment with the music. And for this ofc they get a lot of critics as well as couple of good words time to time.

In Flames - Only for the weak

And one more from these guys.:PDeath n roll.. alltough more rock n roll with expresivness of death metal than death n roll.

Helltrain - I am the misfit
