and all of you people who dont own it will appeal on eihter no4. or reducing it's cargo just because you cant get the satisfaction by having one

grow up and stop making stupid changes that brings nothing good to this mod. certein people who dont even play fl at all have made huge useless changes that brought us nothing but instead have made many players quit not because they couldnt adapt but because there was no point nor the logic for those stated above

give me one good reason why HESSIANS, a poor miners, hey, A MINERS, should own a battleship with more firepower than a RHEINLAND MILITARY H.O.U.S.E. ?! and dont tell me all that crap about the rp and stuff because there's no rp that could cover all of it

now dont think i dont appreciate your work nor that im not happy with everything made. i sincerely admire your patience, and all the time you put into it. but for the god's sake, make disco be like 2 years ago when i couldnt get on the server at FIVE AM when it was 200/200 full!! dont tell me that people god bored, many of em have told me that theyve left coz of what's going on

The Jormugand class battleship does not have more firepower then the Rheinland <strike>dreadnaught</strike> Battleship. It's a medium versus heavy - although personally, I'd have restricted it to a lighter version, on par with ships like the Mako.

I presume you're one of the people who pushed the barge into the role of trade vessel, a role it was never meant to have?

Preventing them docking anywhere would be great. I'd say go for the combination of 7, 4 and 6.

With player bases is there a need for the barge in its original role though?

I would take the triple-pick:

4) Remove its cruise engine (jumping and very slow normal engines only)
6) Prohibit barges docking at anything. This means that two people are needed to use a barge; a player driving a freighter or transport to load/unload the barge and the barge player.
7) Increasing its cargo capacity and reducing its armour.


Make that thing unusable for oe person, that way it definitly gets a team-only-effort...and with loading/unloading cycles it is still "there" so people can intercept it...

to be honest if you make it like this. abusing it will be:
jumping and trade. you would still have the same as now. as it cannot dock and how it now goes it docks at very slow rate. so in like JZ i think they will let their whales just unload it. as i think they did mostly allready. Because its much faster then try that thing to dock. So what is the difference then between now and your changes? and with the increased cargo its just 1 or 2 more trains to let it dock at the place for making credits. No offence but this is the plain truth.

To be honest have the idea peeps in here make responces while never flown a barge. Please if you never have flown one dont respond. as it proves in the reactions of several people in here

If Cannon had said "barge-owners, how do you want your barges?", I would respect that. But I don't buy the reasoning, that because you own one you should have less of a biased view.

If we in the JZ jumped a barge and had to unload it with whales, we would make a great target for pierats. A lot of people (including some Mako pilots for some odd reason) are out to get us, and we make a target that is very easy to identify and track. If a barge holds 40.000 units and we have 4 whales, we would have to go to the station and unload cargo 3 times each, providing ample time for pierats to log and kill either the whales or take a punch at the helpless Barge, especially if it is made so that it cannot dock anywhere (which I think it should, with a fix regarding drift on F1 plus dying).
