Lohingren, on the contrary, your post is quite refreshing.
And constructive.
It's the rest i'm worried about.

And that is just pure spamming.
Please people, let's cut this "MSN" chating over here.
Let's stop for a while, until one big constructive post arrives, and then we can continue.
Thank you.

Actually, it's not pure spam, though I can easily see how one might arrive at the conclusion (guiltily points to rapidly rising post count). That would be me calling you on perceived mockery. Also, MSN sucks, I hate it. But that IS off-topic. And I think my posts have all been constructive. Actually, they've been very destructive, but they haven't been spam, per se'. They are just as valid as everything else here (with the exception of the unoriginal comment, which is a more personal thing but still isn't proper spam).

Speaking about your posts not being offtopic is also offtopic.
Also, i'm offtopic for commenting your posts.
So, please, will you stop it?
I don't really care how you call it:yes:

Whatever you say... but you made the jab, so strictly speaking you went off-topic before I did, making this whole little run really your fault. But, in the interest of getting back ON-topic, since it ain't in the basement yet, how about dem ID restrictions, eh? Mine are all straightened out, so how about yours? The Cow's gotten rid of her IC ID some time ago, so how about following yours, please?
Quote:A) we don't have admins in our faction, thus special ID is not an option
Also, I'd still like to know what this means.

Strictly speaking, the Cash Cow is the property of IC's 'Border Worlds Acquisitions' Department, which basically means the Do-Whatever-The-Hell-You-Want-As-Long-As-We-Get-Our-Money Department; I essentially followed the IND's precedent, but the ID has been changed out for something more appropriate.
Well we'll be IMG security department which basically means the Go-Smuggle-Wherever-The-Hell-You-Want-As-Long-As-You-Don't-Come-Near-IMG stations. How's that? If it works for you, it can work for us....
(you know what I ment and I'm not gonna explain it here so others could justify jumping in to flame)
EDIT: Also, everything Chopper said, because he's bloody well right.

It means that some influence is needed to get your own ID.
And the best influence is given by the Admin, really.
There are factions out there with their own ID and without Admins in it, but we have neither the Admins or influence.
Now, would you really be happy if we switch to Military ID? And why?
We would scan you, we would have a whole Sirius for ZOI (since we'r not official), we would be able to attack ALL pirates etc.
That is not what we want.
Why can't you just give us a slack, for one little thing.
We don't want to switch to Military ID. Yes, it would be by the rules then, but that doesn't make it right.
Generic ID's are not the best thing in my eyes.
And what do you really get if we switch to that ID?
You have only satisfied your hunger for something i don't understand.
Fact is that we should be able to scan/halt every Smuggler near Java/Falkland.
Fact is that Smugglers should have a tougher route on their Cardamine road. As it is now, it's harder to trade, then to smuggle.
Fact is that we are there to make their route harder.
Fact is that we ALWAYS RP when we stop the Trader. We don't just say "Drop cargo or die".
Fact is that we ALWAYS first ask for target to transmit his ID and designation (he can easily lie, unless he's known smuggler to us). If he refuses, we come to scan him.
Fact is that those smugglers are bringing more Outcasts on our door steps.
And fact is that you are searching for loopholes only to accuse us for rule-breaking.
If you ever see us stopping a trader out of our ZOI (Tau-37 is our ZOI, Falkland is my proof), ban the one who did that.
I think 3,4 of us have said enough on this subject.
I'm waiting for someone new to state some new arguments about this, and then to reconsider all that's been said.

I'm newish to Discovery, so feel free to dismiss my thoughts.
I don't like your roleplay, plain and simple. You took BSG, decided you liked it, and then figured out a way to get it into the FL universe. That would be like me watching... Star Wars, Last Starfighter, Pulp Fiction, or something, liking it, and then deciding it should have a place in the FL universe. That's exactly what you did and I don't see anyway you could really dispute that. And Dab hit on this a few pages ago.
Quote:We aren't banning all non-vanilla RP. AW and Phantoms don't have vanilla RP, our separate organizations weren't in the SP or vanilla versions. The difference here is that your RP isn't Freelancer based at all. Ours are Freelancer based, yours are based off a TV show that has absolutely nothing to do with Freelancer.
AW and Phantoms didn't exist in vanilla FL, but the roleplay developed to bring them into existence was based on FL factions and events. Yours is not. Yours is based on the Colonies of Kobol and whatnot. The events that led to a good part of your roleplay had nothing to do with FL in any way. It's only the end that you added on so you could tie the two universes together. See the difference?
The solution? Well, dissolve the whole BSG thing. It doesn't fit into the FL universe at all. You can still be the IMG security force and argue about the finer points of your duties, but BSG should not be a part of it.
ya...you said this very nice...first CR and later BSG are older then year and half...so we will close that faction just cause you said so...over 3000 RP posts on our own forums, who knows how many of our stories here on disco, reports, work that we put into it...we will drop all that just cause you said so...
