Return of the Forums

As you are reading this, the forums are back from their extended holiday. Welcome, it is nice to see you back here.

The reason the forums were down was related to a series of DDoS attacks. We expect to be attacked again and no doubt the forum will fail again. When this happens, in the words of one member "Keep Calm and Carry On". The forums will return eventually.

While the forums were down, I used the opportunity to change the forum software from IPB to myBB.

The current configuration is not final and I have to install a theme that looks more like IPB. There are a number of other maintenance tasks yet to be completed as well.

Well, this prevented me from using this forum for days.

Thanks for the effort put in.
New forums feels... weird. I guess we'll get used to it.
The only thing I see that can actually make things harder is that apparently there's no "Displayed Name" field in profiles.
And we know eachother by those.
But I guess it's not a big issue.
