New Guy Needs help

Hi Guys...

Just returned to Discovery after a a year or so away... looking GREAT

I just started my character and launched... I then took the colorado JH and mined some silver.

I then returned to manhatten and landed intending to sell my silver and go back for more.

I received a cheat warning. I am confused. Only have the starter ship and weps with nothing changed.

I did system chat for admin assist but none replied.

I then launched again to go back for more silver and was suddenly banned...

Could you guys check into this and let me know what I did wrong?

I would like to continue with the server... My character is my user name here

Only 1 warning before you were banned? I thought it was like 3 or so warnings then a ban. You might send a PM to Fellow Hoodlum, Caylith, Kane, or BulldogNK, as they are our admins. I am sure they will help you as soon as they can, but be patient, as I am sure they have lives..

Unless thats a part of the new Anti cheat software, I don't think no ID is a problem. I mean a while ago I somehow unmounted my ID so that I had it in my hold, but it wasn't mounted. So, when I ended up flying into a minefield, I lost my ID, and didn't notice it. I only noticed it about 2 hours later when I couldn't tractor anything in..

No.. I didn't do anything like that...

I simply flew to colorado and back... then docked with 20 units of silver...lol...

Maybe some bug made you have 21 units of silver, and it counted you as cheating?

Perhaps... But I had already sold the silver when I relaunched and was banned.

bottom line... my character/user name is banned and I would like to know what went wrong so I don't repeat it in the future and I would really like to get unbanned and back into the game! :):(

You have been unbanned now. Nothing to indicate why it happened, maybe a glitch at your end ?
Clean installs of the mod and manager ? Re-install Freelancer ? No idea what you have done so far.

I am using a clean install... and then a clean install with the new MOD version with FLMM

I had a character on the server a while ago with a similar/same user name. Could there be a conflict? I would have though the old character would have been deleted by now though.

Finally got enough credits and purcahsed a CSV...

Got more silver in Colorado and jumped back into New York...

Got ANOTHER cheat message and then got banned.... again...

Clean install of freelancer and MOD

Whats going on? This makes no sense

I am not a cheater.

Could you guys please "unban" me again
