I bought the $60 package because I have money to burn after my last paycheck. I don't regret a penny of it and only wish I Had the $10k for the Give Me the Universe.. Not for the goodies, but for the bragging rights of helping make the game.

Well then. I'll certainly be joining you guys on this one. I just watched his pitch video and Jinx is gonna make bank in that game if they do accept ship submissions like he was talking about.

I am so excited Chris is back on this. And Boss, regarding the quote above, it should include "spaceships", "ship weapons" or "cash" too--if you want to be a real purist.

Just waiting on funds to transfer into Paypal and I'll be going for the Lancer Pledge. Gives some time for the devs there to get their pledging system stable as well.
The Engineering modding manual sounds pretty cool and I prefer to start with the exploration/trade style ship first.

Well, Roberts said the thrusters could be tampered with by the player to alter the turning style. He cited being able to deactivate several of them in order to pull off engine kill drifts. Not sure if that would give an advantage or not - we'd have to see what the projectiles are like.

Anyway, I'd be interested in establishing a corporation with my fellow Disco traders, when the time comes.
