If they make invasion into New London... what they can do there? Only say "Oh... boring...." because nobody will be there. But in liberty ... there are cruisers, bombers, all kind of fighters, gunboats.... sumary a lot of fun. UOG are players and they play ONLINE game... why waste time in New London in boring, monotone fight fith NPCs when they can go into Liberty and have much more FUN with real players?

Yes, but the problem here is.. Everyone is in NY already.
That's why Brettonia and Kusari are empty.
If it was all about fun, then we could allow all factions go in NY and PVP each other.

And Lee, please read the political and military objectives of UOG... and then give me RP reason why UOG can attack LIBERTY... any way I'm thinking about starting new Topic about reducing traffic through NY and large presence of players there... but i must come up with couple solutions first...

I was one of those lazy people who did not want to explore further than Lb ... space, now when i got out, I return to it only if someone calls, or when I'm on trade route... SORRY.. not topic theme...sorry

Lee, I suggest you go back to increasing the size of your rather extensive library of screenshots, because the
use of real life parallels to aid your Freelancer argument is not very convincing. The IRA, if we take that as
the parallel did attack outside of their Irish (Molly) borders, though it was in England (Bretonia), and not in
Liberty (USA) ... Infact Liberty (USA) had a large IRA (Molly) sympathetic group ...
I doubt whether they would have put their status in jeopardy by attacking Liberty (USA) ... Hypothetically.

Fact is UOG is THE major Bretonian faction.

Imagine that the IRA had 20 times the military muscle of the UK armed forces...
what would happen next? Well by this analogy they would have invaded NY :crazy:

The current situation is a nonsense. Imagine if the RHA and RM switched relative strengths. The UOG are just too powerful and so having become too big for their own pond they are looking elsewhere (not unlike most military powers throughout history). In Disco this is not allowed. We have fixed borders and fixed battlelines.

In reality what needs to happen here is that there needs to be a Bretonian police/army faction to not only rival the UOG but actually dwarf it. UOG is supposed to be on the weak side of the power struggle. Bretonia is supposed to be one of, if not the most lawful place in FL.

How we get there? No idea. Maybe all the people complaining should create a Bretonian lawful and try to right the balance.

When it comes to UOG we always end up in a very long topic, with a lots of posts:lol:

Anyway, we, from the command, have given out the order to ALL of our members, that they should NOT leave bretonia.

So if you see one UOG pilot in liberty, or in Rheinland, etc (except if we are buying equipment, like imp debis in a rouge base) just pm me with a screenshot, and i will deal with it.

We only wanted to make a little RP fight. If this was oorp, or a weak rp, than sorry.

From now on we will concentrate on bretonia and the corsairs.

I see no problem in UOGs trying to do an RP event with us but please don't do that little INVASION again, that was poor RP to bring all your capship and kill everyone. And I repeat that none of your men has even contacted me or my men in game. btw if we took (the LSF) so much time to come it is because we were fighting Ernest.Stavo.Blofeld near Colorado JG for like 20mins.

a good RP will be:

The minister of bretonian ressource is going to liberty to make an agreement on an open trade treaty.
UOG take the occasion to kill him since he wil be in a ship (Luxury Liner or Bret Capship) not on a base.
So UOG will have to go in liberty and kill him so it will do a lot of pressure on the governement
LSF/SA have no choice than to protect their allies, so they are sending a response force
