Dossier #120 - Provence Scouting Report
Last updated on 12. November, 819 AS.

System Overview

Provence is a remote system in the south of Gallia, lacking a lane network as well as jump gate connections to surrounding systems. Most important stellar objects are located near an enormous ice nebula that extends far into the southeast of the system.

Known jump connections:

Jump hole (2/3 C/D) - Auvergne (Dossier #129)
Jump hole (2/3 G) - Auvergne (Dossier #129)
Jump hole (5/6 G) - Dauphine (Dossier #111)

Areas of Interest
[Image: ejuKa.png]
Cannes Resort Station
Owner: Gallic government, likely tourism corporations.
Location: 3 E

The Cannes Resort station orbits a blue gas giant and is protected by the battleship Arles and a great number of patrols. The station seems to function as a holiday location, it attracts many civilian visitors that arrive in luxurious and well-armored liners.

Planet Marseille
Owner: Gallic government
Location: 3/4 C/D

Located to the west from Cannes Resort station, planet Marseille is an inhabited planet vastly covered by oceans that surround several islands. Much like Cannes, it receives a lot of attention from luxury liners and seems to be used frequently as a holiday resort. It is orbited by a well-guarded prison station named "Chateau d'If".

Toulon Mining Facility
Owner: Gallic Metal Service
Location: 4/5 C

A mining facility in one of three asteroid fields within the system. The "Gallic Metal Service" seems to operate in the area, mining resources from the fields nearby. Its industrial activity and transport of products takes place separately from the tourism industry across the system.

Monte Carlo Freeport
Owner: Gallic Junkers
Location: 6 D

Located at the edge of the nebula and orbiting planet Istres, this freeport is operated by the gallic Junkers and used similarly to the northern holiday resorts. However, one can see pilots of various origins visiting the station, civilians as well as criminals, the council and maquis, smugglers and mercenaries meet up to gamble or trade restricted goods, all beyond the influence of the Gallic law. While Maltese nationals should be careful when visiting the station because of the possible conflicts of interests, this could prove as a major chance to establish ties with local groups and spread the orange dream to adventuresome visitors.

Dossier #121 - Orleanais Scouting Report
Last updated on 12. November, 819 AS.
System overview

System is large and heavy populated. It contains two colonized planets and eight charted Gallic stations. Solar objects - both medium yellow. System spent one asteroid field is under control of Gallic House. Estimated value for Nación Maltesa is low: system is located deep within Gallia space and it will be difficult to gain control over this system considering its population. Hostile patrols are abundant within system, though no capships were detected so far.

Known jump connections:
Jump Hole (E2) - Ile-de-France (Dossier#128)

Jump Gate (D1/E2) - Ile-de-France (Dossier#128)
Jump Gate (E7/E8) Berry (Dossier#125)
Jump Gate (G3) Lyonnais (Dossier#122)

Areas of interest
Planet Blouis/Vendome station
Owner: Gallic Goverment
Location: 5 C
[Image: vendomeblouis.jpg]
Terrestrial colonized planet with some luxurious looking residence station on its orbit.

Chateaudin Mining Facility
Owner: Gallic Corporation
Location: 4 D
[Image: orleanaismap2.jpg][Image: chateaudin.jpg]
Mining facility extracting resources from nearby nebula. Stations surroundings are spoiled by a small debris field.

Chartres Space Colony and Etampes Shipping Platform
Owner: Gallic Corporation
Location: 3 D
[Image: orleanaismap2.jpg][Image: etampeschartres.jpg]
Another large apartment station with personal shipping platform. Private security forces patrols the area together with a police ones, so it might be supposed that these stations are corporate property.

Gien Space Colony
Owner: Gallic Corporation
Location: 6 D
[Image: gien.jpg]
And yet another living hub within system also protected by private security force.

Planet Orleanais/Maintenon Shipyard
Owner: Gallic goverment/Navy
Location: 3/4 F
[Image: orleanaismap3.jpg][Image: maintenont.jpg]
Military grade shipyard orbiting colonized planet. It is able to build or repair up to 8 capships simultaneously according to outer survey.

Romorantin Space Port
Owner: Gallic Corporation
Location: 5 F
[Image: romoratin.jpg]
Looks like it was an important shipping point once, but now very little activity can be spotted around station.

Salbris Base
Owner: Gallic Brigands
Location: 6 C/D
[Image: salbris.jpg]
Asteroid base built inside a very dense asteroid field. Any ship larger than freighter will have certain problems to get to this base.

Notes

Corse patrols can be met around, so they have a base somewhere within Orleanais system. I wasn't able to find it yet.

Dossier #122 - Lyonnais Scouting Report
Last updated on 12. November, 819 AS.

System Overview

Lyonnais is a large gallic core system containing multiple economically important stations, as well as a populous planet in its heart. The system is guarded by a large number of patrols and is far from Maltese outposts, making anything except a brigand base comparably uninviting.

Known jump connections:

Jump hole (2 D) - Ile-de-France (Dossier #128)
Jump hole (6/7 C) - Orleanais (Dossier #121)

Jump gate (2 B) - Ile-de-France (Dossier #128)
Jump gate (5/6 A/B) - Orleanais (Dossier #121)

Areas of Interest
[Image: Udja2.png]
Montbrison Storage Facility
Owner: Gallic corporations, most likely IDF.
Location: 5 C

A shipping platform orbiting the nearby planet Feurs. Commercial traffic from various corporations could be seen using the installation, however a predominance of IDF affiliated transports as well as data from transmission headers make it clear who the base is maintained by.

Roanne Production Facility
Owner: Gallic Metal Service
Location: 3 C

Located inside the asteroid field surrounding planet Riorges, this station seems to be equipped with several factory modules and occupied with manufacturing, despite being maintained and mainly visited by the gallic mining corporation GMS.

Planet Lyon
Owner: Gallic government
Location: 3 D/E

Planet Lyon is the only inhabitable planet in the Lyonnais system, and seems to be the system's central and name-giving point. It receives an enormous amount of traffic and must be the home to several hundred millions. The planet is orbited by the "Saint-Exupery Space Port", a large storage station owned by a major gallic corporation.

Luxury Liner Belleville
Owner: Gallic corporation
Location: 3 F/G

At the eastern end of Lyonnais' lane network, a debris field can be found that seems to originate from a former station - what caused the destruction of said installation is difficult to deduce. A luxury liner as well as the battleship Venissieux are stationed within the remaining debris field.

Saint-Etienne Space Colony
Owner: Uncertain, gallic government or corporation.
Location: 6/7 D

Located in the south of the system, away from the system's main trade routes, this station serves as a colony that seems to accommodate a large number of people. Several rocky, lifeless planets can be found around it. Saint-Etienne doesn't seem to have any industrial significance, as transports travelling from and to the station mainly carry consumer goods and living essentials.

Pelussin Base
Owner: Gallic Brigands
Location: 4 F/G

The small brigand station can be found in the depths of a gas nebula, covering a large area southeast from the system's central sun. According to local rumors and activity, Pelussin seems to serve more as a transit point for illegal trade than a base to stage attacks from.

Dossier #123 - Anjou Scouting Report
Last updated on 12. November, 819 AS.

System Overview

Anjou is an almost empty backdoor system connecting Maine, Touraine and Orleanais over jump holes. However, the entire system is guarded and patrolled by the Royal Navy, making it too dangerous for passage.

Known jump connections:

Jump hole (2 D) - Maine (Dossier #127)
Jump hole (5 G) - Orleanais (Dossier #121)
Jump hole (7 E) - Touraine (Dossier #124)

Jump gate (2 G) - Ile-de-France (Dossier #128)

Areas of Interest
[Image: KECuM.png]
Planet Angers
Owner: Gallic government.
Location: 3/4 E/F

A lonely desert planet with hot temperatures. It does not seem to be extensively populated, however there is a docking ring to access the planet. No civilian or corporate traffic was seen approaching or departing from the planet. Its purpose and interest could not be determined, but the Royal Navy guards the planet with the battleship Saumur and many patrols. Local transmissions are encrypted.

Dossier #124 - Touraine Scouting Report
Last updated on 12. November, 819 AS.

System Overview

Touraine is a desolate backdoor system neighboring the very similar Anjou system. With the distance to our outposts, the only other jump hole connection leading to Auvergne and the danger frequent patrols within Touraine as well as Anjou pose, the system is comparably uninteresting to the Maltese nation.

Known jump connections:

Jump hole (2 D/E) - Anjou (Dossier #123)
Jump hole (7 F) - Auvergne (Dossier #129)

Jump gate (3 G) - Berry (Dossier #125)

Areas of Interest
[Image: gLWl2.png]
Tours Station
Owner: Gallic royal police.
Location: 3/4 F

A desolate station located close to the center of the system, frequently patrolled and visited by Royal police vessels. Its exact purpose is not entirely clear, it does not seem to serve a prison station, but the absence of civilian traffic suggests it may be a training camp for pilots of the Royal police.

Dossier #125 - Berry Scouting Report
Last updated on 13. November, 819 AS.
System overview

System size is medium. . It contains two colonized planets and eight Gallic stations. Solar objects – medium white and blue dwarf. System is under control of Gallic House. Estimated value for Nación Maltesa is medium to high: system is located deep within Gallia space, but is very rich in terms of mineable commodities, so trade traffic is very dense. A presence of fresh-built space stations confirms economical importance of this system. Fighter wings patrol entire system, though asteroid fields can provide necessary cover.

Known jump connections:
Jump Hole (D 7) - Auvergne (Dossie #129)
Jump Hole (F 7) - Dauphine (Dossie #111)
Jump Hole (F 2) Orleanais (Dossie #121)
Jump Gate (C 8) Auvergne (Dossie #129)

Relatively small asteroid base. Maquis patrols are abundant within the area

Levroux Base
Owner: Gallic brigands
Location: 3 G (about 10 K above the plane)
Asteroid base of Gallic brigands according to rumors, some kind of alien artifacts can be bought here. Those artifacts are not the same thing loco Corsairs smuggling, they are something else.

Fourchambault Shipyard
Owner: Navy
Location: 6 E
[Image: fourchambault.jpg]
Huge ship building and repair facility, outer survey shows four docks able to accept a Battleship and dozens of smaller docks.

Dossier #126 - Corse Scouting Report

System overview

System size is small, containing a single base and two jumpholes, thats it. Honestly I couldn't even eat two dolce before I got across the system.
Estimated value for Nación Maltesa is barely detectable: system is located south east of Gallia space, but as stated it's useless and not worth the trip. Judging from the fighter wings patrols carrying Union Corse transponders I reckon this is their hiding-hole.

Known jump connections:
Jump Hole (B 4) - Languedoc (Dossier #118)
Jump Hole (E 2) - Provence (Dossier #120)

Areas of interest
Bastia Base
Owner: Union Corse
Location: D 4

Small depot for what I presume to be the Union Corse, seems similar to Genoa but I guessing it a whole lot worse.

Dossier #127 - Maine Scouting Report
Last updated on 12. November, 819 AS.

System Overview

The Maine system consists of two inhabited planets and several industrial stations, and most likely has a high value for the Gallic economy and industry. Its East-West lane route connects Ile-de-France and systems Junkers seem to call "Normandie", yet no jumphole connections could be found and the jump gate is inactive. Due to its distance to Malta as well as the lack of any suitable outposts, Maine isn't one of Gallia's most interesting systems to the Maltese nation.

Known jump connections:

Jump hole (5/6 G) - Ile-de-France (Dossier #128)
Jump hole (7/8 E) - Anjou (Dossier #123)

Jump gate (4 G) - Ile-de-France (Dossier #128)

Areas of Interest
[Image: erGAy.png]
La Ferte-Bernard
Owner: Gallic government
Location: 4 G

A border station located at the jump gate to Ile-de-France, many Navy and Police wings seem to base their patrols from there. Unlike many gates in the eastern Gallic systems, it is not additionally reinforced by weapon platforms.

Planet Le Mans
Owner: Gallic government
Location: 4 E/F

Scans from its orbit detected temperatures too cold to be suitable for life in most areas, however the planet is equipped with a docking ring and visited frequently by civilian and commercial vessels, indicating that a small population lives in the planet's equatorial regions.

Senonches Mining Facility
Owner: Gallic Metal Service
Location: 3 E/F

A mining station located in the north near a snow-white nebula, far from the trade lane system. It is appears to be used to gather resources from nearby asteroid fields, where small traces of copper can be found. However, the activity surrounding the station and in the fields is comparably low.

Planet Mayenne
Owner: Gallic government
Location: 3/4 C/D

Another icy terrestrial planet equipped with a docking ring and mooring fixture. Traffic landing on and departing from the planet is mainly of industrial nature. The planet is orbited by the "Treyarch Research Facility", which is protected by a powerful defense grid, as well as the "Mortagne Production Facility", equipped with several factory modules. Products are exported towards Ile-de-France into nearby systems.

Segre Outpost
Owner: Gallic government
Location: 4 A/B

At the other end of Maine's East-West axis, Segre Outpost and the battleship Nogent-le-Rotroi seem to protect an inactive jump gate. Its destination is unknown, no civilian or commercial traffic could be found in the area.

Laval Shipyard
Owner: Likely EFL Oil & Machinery
Location: 5 C

Located inside a southern asteroid field, Laval is a huge shipyard equipped with six docks for large vessels. It is likely that shipyard is mainly used for construction and maintenance of civilian vessels such as transports and liners, as the Royal Navy doesn't appear to patrol the area frequently and our wing was able to observe a luxury liner of the same model as the "Belleville" and "Antibes" under maintenance.

Chateau-Gontier Freeport
Owner: Gallic Junkers
Location: 5/6 F

Named a freeport and owned by the Gallic junkers, this station does not only welcome visitors from various origins, but also exports industrial resources. It is equipped with processing modules and orbits the blue gas giant Le Lude. While the gallic junkers seem to be comparably welcoming towards Maltese visitors, the frequency of civilian and corporate gallic vessels using this station as well as the grip of lawful forces on the lane network disqualify Chateau-Gontier as a frequent destination for Maltese vessels.

Ecommoy Base
Owner: Gallic Brigands
Location: 5 G

Ecommoy is built inside a big asteroid in Maine's eastern ice field. It is located near the Ile-de-France jumphole and serves as a transit point for smugglers, and as outpost for piracy within the system.

Dossier #128 - Ile-de-France Scouting Report
Last updated on 13. November, 819 AS.

System Overview

Capitol system of Gallia Ill-de-France is a truly astounding, tremendous area filled with an extensive infrastructure. Double trade lanes can’t be found anywhere else, not even in capitol systems of Sirian Houses. System contains some deposits of mineable resources including water and hydrocarbons. Estimated value for Nación Maltesa is very high: though it’s impossible to gain much influence in the capitol system via military force, huge population make this sytem vulnerable to a mass cardamine distribution. A Gallic Junkers base presented here is probably the best place to establish a central point of cardamine distribution network.

Known jump connections:

Jump hole (3 C) - Maine (Dossier #127)
Jump hole (4 G) - Burgundy (Dossier #115)
Jump hole (6 G) - Lyonnais (Dossier #122)
Jump hole (7 C) - Orleanais (Dossier #121)

Jump gate (2/3 F/G) - Picardy (Dossier #119)
Jump gate (4 B) - Maine (Dossier #127)
Jump gate (5 G) - Burgundy (Dossier #115)
Jump gate (6 B) - Anjou (Dossier #123)
Jump gate (6/7 F/G) - Lyonnais (Dossier #122)
Jump gate (7/8 D/E) - Orleanais (Dossier #121)

Areas of Interest
[Image: Hbj4I.png]
Planet New Paris
Owner: Gallic government
Location:6 E

Terrestrial colonized planet, three sets of docking equipment are providing access to the surface (Ile-du-Palais, Saint-Germain, Saint-Denis). In its orbit is the "Montmartre Space Colony", a huge station that is able to house thousands of people, perhaps the largest and well-equipped space colony that been charted across Gallia space - as well as the "[i]Fontainebleau Residence[i]".

Fleury-Merogis Prison Station
Owner: Gallic government
Location: 6 E (above plane)

Outer surveys allow to presume that this station is a some kind of prison, though it’s location just one run from a capitol planet looks odd at least.

Melun Research Institution
Owner: Navy
Location: 6 F (above plane)

Located far above the orbital plane of Ile-de-France. It orbits a small dwarf planet named Mennecy. Specifics about the types of research conducted at Melun remain unknown.

Sarcelles Shipping Facility
Owner: Gallic corporation
Location: 5 F

A large and well-maintained shipping platform built on a brisk crossroads. The battleship Montreuil is stationed near the shipping platform. It is probably acting as a Navy patrols base and mobile defense force that can be used as a plug on any jump gate in a system.

Compiegne Space Colony
Owner: Gallic corporation
Location: 3/4 F

A large and modern look housing space facility, plenty of vessels bearing civilian transponders can be seen around, it allows to presume that this station is some kind of corporate HQ.

Soissons Mining Facility
Owner: Gallic corporation
Location: 3/4 F (below plane)

Old mining station bearing a mark of some recent reconstructions can be found far below the plane within the asteroid field.

Beauvais Production Facility
Owner: Gallic corporation
Location: 3 D

Large industrial base, according to traffic scans it’s produce some kind of chemicals, probably somehow related to strange fuel local ships using.

Beaumont Base
Owner: Gallic Junkers
Location: 3D

Not to be mistaken with a Sirian Junkers base in Texas system. This base is a center of local drug dealing, thus it requires a special attention from Maltese forces.

Versailles Residence
Owner: Gallic government
Location: 4 C

This large and elaborate space station is a “second favorite Royal residence”, a locals says. Should be avoided at all-costs because of high security.

Rambouilette Shipyard
Owner: Royal Navy
Location: 5/6 C

Massive shipyard with at least eight capship sized docks, intense work, probably related to situation on Leeds fronts, can be spotted even from a great distances.

Location: 5 B/C
[Image: saintflour.jpg]
Mining facility, according to traffic scans exports cobalt. Trace of mining operations can be found around A 3.

Battleship Le Cendre
Owner: Navy
Location: 5/6 E
[Image: bscendre.jpg]
System defense battleship, probably serving as mobile Navy base, now it is stationed near Provence jumphole.

Aurillac Base
Owner: Gallic Brigands
Location: 5 D (about 10K above the plane)
Asteroid base situated not far from Provence jumphole.

Lapalisse Depot
Owner: Maquis (probably)
Location: 3 E (about 10K above the plane)
[Image: auvergnemap2.jpg] [Image: lapalisse.jpg]
Small depot is extremely hard to find, dense nebula provide it an excellent cover.

Vichy Base
Owner: The Council (probably)
Location: 5 F
[Image: vichyb.jpg]
Small asteroid base within asteroid field that lacks any traces of valuable resources. Ships bearing The Council IFF were spotted while docking this outpost.

Notes

A double jump hole connection between two systems is a rarely encountered phenomenon, documented in only a few locations around Sirius. System also have sealed jumpgate at A/B 5.
