BHG Gunship with independent mercenary?

I was wondering if it would be within the rules to use the Bounty Hunter's "Bottlenose" gunship with a independent mercenary working for the Bretonia Armed Forces against Galia?
I most likely won't be using any BHG specific weapons. I'll be using a Freelancer ID (Unless there's a more appropriate one)

Any advice/feedback for setting this character up would be very much appreciated!

You can use Bottlenose with freelancer ID to aid Bretonia against Gallia as long as you're actually being paid to do so.

Thank you.
Any tips on where I'd go to try and set up an arrangement?

You should register in the Bretonian bounty board

To sign up on Bounty Board:

And to buy ship, fly to the guard system and buy ship, make sure to take bribes to be neutral.

You should also ask BHG| or APM before stealing one of their ships, if you want to keep everything "proper".

Oh, why bother? Heck, there's some Liberty Navy guys running around with a Mako or Bullhead or some such stuff. No one bothers to ask us anymore about buying our stuff - they simply come steal it because the way the rules changed, we can't do squat about it anyway.

Bitter? Me? Not much. Why do you ask? (I'm halfway considering simply taking one of my BHG characters in and buying an RM battleship - which I could do - and then taking it to Liberty, and enlisting in the Liberty Navy by buying a Navy Guard ID - which I could do. The new tech stuff rules hurt official factions a lot.)

Well your lib navy turtle would run at 10%, and the libdread is much much better. You would regret doing that very fast.

In-rp can't you force lawful bounty board bosses to check mercs and freelancers for proper permits before they sign up on the board? Or post a bounty on thieves on behalf of APM?
