Chat Macro Question

Yes I know theyre frowned upon but sometimes you don't have time to type. Anyway my question is, how can I set a chat macro to only show in local rather than system-wide? If it is at all possible

Set message 1 - /1 would put it in system. /l1 puts it in local. Sorted.

If you're talking about the ingame "chat macros" (created using the /setmsg command) that we have online by default; just type /l followed my the setmsg number without a space in between - "/l1", for example - to send the message to local chat instead of system chat. You can also use setmsgs in group chats by using /g followed by the setmsg number.
