And, about changing them to regions, would make new players dont know where their friends are.

If they're playing with friends, then it's as simple as "hey bro, where you at?" "New York, Fort Bush" "Ok, be there in a minute!".

You don't need the playerlist for that.

If this is technically feasible can we get such thing done.
Also to make the things more interesting I suggest to make the zones smaller.
Like Liberty divided in between 2-3 regions not one big. If we have around 20-30 regions with 5-10 systems each the people would be able to find the others and the metagaming wont be issue.
So when the other Mods have it we cannot have it?

As for the player list displaying regions - yes this is possible, and incredibly easy to do. All it'd require is the implementation of one of Adoxa's FLHook plugins and a bit of minor customisation. The real question is whether or not introducing it would actually be beneficial to server gameplay.

Sometimes I think the server could use a bit of meta-playing using the player list.

I might want to have an encounter with a certain group of players but I want it to be as genuine as possible from their side and can therefore use the player list to find them and, from their point of view, run into them.

But I do feel that not knowing who is where would, for me at least, add more suspense to the game.
