My name is Mike Šenkeřík, I am 22 years old student of journalism at a private school in Prague (pay it myself, om nom nom), the capital of Czech Republic. I am originally from the other side of the republic, but I don´t mind travelling and exploring new areas - something you find useful in an outer space!
9 months ago, I decided to completely change my life, so I started to eat healthily, run (my passion) and work on self-development and self-education, lost 11kg (not fat pig anymoar) and (probably my biggest achievement so far) quit WoW after 7 years. Now, I have decided to start playing Freelancer again for I love the images, deepness and misteriousity of space (though I´d love a new graphics engine ).
You can expect fully mature approach from me, though we all happen to be kids from time to time, right?
Why do you want to join Phoenix?
I haven´t been playing Freelancer for about 13 months and when I have returned a few days back, everything was different. Order more or less gone, new factions, etc. So many new things!
To be honest, I had no idea who to join, and, meeting you guys, you were very friendly in game, plus I also like the background of Phoenix. Also, I had some lore for my characters in mind, and joining you fits it well.
How long have you been playing Discovery Freelancer?
I have about one year experience with Freelancer singleplayer (though that was some time ago) and roughly 3 months of Discovery experience (but that was also a while back). But I spent about two years on Darkstar One and other RPG games (WoW mainly, 7 years) so I have a general "reflexes" and knowledge of how to play this type of games
What do you think you can bring to us in Phoenix?
I am very friendly person, happy to lend a helping hand anywhere I can. If you need an escort or a comrade for Nomads hunting run, I am your man!

Oh, my story? Thrilling!
Well, long story short - I used to be an officer on The Order´s "Hathor" class gunboat named Darkstar. I server under Commander Mike Oulley, who also is my best friend. About a year ago, we were sent to investigate a possible nomad threat in Omicron-92 and it turned out they sent more than ussual. So, we rand and called an emergency distress. In Omicron-100, we were met by The Order counter-strike fleet, but those blue bastards kept popping out of everywhere. Well, we gave ´em hell and from what I´ve heared, we won. But we paid the blood money.
One of the nomads crashed into us as he jumped from hyperdrive, and we took some damage from their capital a second after that. Shields down, several hull breaches and the reactor was going critical. Commander Oulley ordered our fleet to retreat home and our crew to evacuate through the nearby wormhole. The two of us were the last to abandon Darkstar in a single pod. We were almost at the jump hole when the reactor exploded and took the nomad bastards out. But somehow, be it the blastwave, radiation, good luck or what, the jumphole got fucked up and we ended up somewhere else. Now, that was 13 months ago.
We woke up a few weeks back, on the other side of Sirius. Some guy found us and took us in. It later turned out we were comatose the whole time and that we were locked up in some militariy facility of... Gallon empire, was it? never heared of them before - one more reason to escape. And we did run like hell, lemme tell you. We managed to hude on one of their transports and ended up in Kusari space. Wasn´t that difficult to steal a shjip there and get our asses to omicrons.
We stopped at planet Crete in Omicron Gamma to resupply. We had a few contacts there from the old times, so we paid one a visit. That´s when we learned about everything that had happened in the past year. The invasion of Nomads, the fall of The Order, the rise of Gallia. Pretty much fucked up, is you ask me. They even marked us K.I.A., because it turned out our crew got slaughtered by Nomads the very second they popped out on the other side of the wormhole. Lucky us, we got thrown some place else.
Mike decided to search for The Order remnants, if any are still left, and continue the fight against the alien scum. And that´s where we parted. I´ve never been much of a revenge-type of a guy, so I´ve decided to koin the few allies we have left - the Zoners. To stay on low profile and make some money, at least until I can get my hands on some powerhouse. Speaking of that, I kinda miss old good Darkstar! Who knows, perhaps, one day, we will be able to bring The Order to its former glory and kick ass again. But for now, I wanna enjoy the life a bit...

My name is Rebecca Jordan, I come form the neighboring Order systems as I am a former logistics pilot of the second wing. I grew weary of the repetitive supply runs between Omicron Mu and Zeta as well. That is how I first came to be aware of your group. Whilst on a supply run from Omicron Minor I noticed your station and became curious as why a Zoners would choose here to build their home. After some research of Phoenix, the Zoner way of life became more and more appealing. Whilst no longer a member of the Order, I still retain my Order relationships and logistics knowledge. Also I have recently become the captain of a DL Class Borderworlds Transport. If accepted, I would like this ships namesake to be in honor of the devine Greek personification of the breeze, Aura. I believe by joining Phoenix i will be able to utilize both my ship and logistic skills to: Support Phoenix, Assist Zoners in general and indulge the desire to explore.
