We did this already, it was setup on the 2nd of march i believe, and zero attended.

Maybe you missed a previous post in which we gave a 2 hour slot for people to come on to SKYPE to talk to us. The time chosen was to try and accommodate the 'majority' of the Community. This is being seen as Europe and the Americas and everywhere in between. 0 people turned up except for 4 Judges that spent time telling each other stories from our RL (at least those of us who have/have had a RL). We were there for the full 2 hours and a bit before and after to give everybody a chance.

Well if you skip back a couple of pages and look at Judge Yohance's comment stating he will set it up, he added his skype name, a time and a date was given also, he secured 2 hours of his time on skype for all to come in and offer some suggestions, everyone was to be civil, feedback was to be given, questions would be answered as long as they were practical etc,

Have you considered the fact that the forums let you reply at any time, not just a window of two hours, generally have people writing a little more elaborate things rather than shouting one line through their mic, and so forth?
I don't see what makes a skype conference call truly necessary for this discussion.

The judges came into this community, and rather than finding a place within our current system of RP and IDs, have, at times aggressively, tried to shoehorn your outside RP into the existing lore and rules.
Maybe you should take a step back and rather than thinking "what should disco do to make us feel included" you should think "how should we change our group and lore to fit within the current system"
So none of the 'Official Factions' have had an ID that didn't fit into the Vanilla version of this Game? This game as far as I know (and I agree my knowledge of the game is approx 15 months in length) is an evolving game from its original concept. Our lore and RP is something new and hasn't been tried before. The aims are impossible but that is a Journey to explore!

Many factions have goals that are unlikely to ever be reached. However, all of them have goals that are smaller in scope and more realistic to achieve.
I believe this has been said before, but it'd be wise to set a few of such goals. That library of yours - no matter how odd the idea of a library in this "age" that holds secrets seems to me - is one such goal.
There is no faction that I know of that merely has a few abstract goals that will never, ever happen - and any sane person, both within and outside the roleplay of Discovery would realize this, unless they're really naive.
Edit:
And regarding the skype chat: there is a difference between a chat and a conference call. What I believe was suggested on the previous page of this thread was a chat, not a call. Simply a place where people who care to give their opinion can do so without derailing this thread too much.

Well, when you are 'talking', in a discussion, to people you tend to be fairly civil. When writing you have time to post things such as saying that somebody has misspelt Rogue and Bretonia and then next post +1 with a very large number (these are all not conducive to a discussion). Also, between Adults, sarcasm is generally kept to a minimum unless you want to find yourself ignored by the rest.
Also writing and posting allows you to remain effectively anonymous. You can be as full of bravado and knowledgeable as you want to portray. But when you verbally communicate you are more vulnerable. Your arguments generally become your own and not 'jumping on the bandwagon' because this can easily be picked up by others.

The Unification of the world today, getting rid of starvation and poverty are all goals of the UN. Achievable goals, very unlikely in my life time or my Grandchildren's, but these are still goals that a lot of people throughout this world are trying to achieve. They look at it, by getting one small victory at a time, that eventually they will get there.

I am frankly amazed at what 24 hours can do. Such ardor about “ganking” and 9:1 and still Omicron, not to mention lack of RP, sitting on Newark, not bringing anything to the community and so on and so forth, is to me astounding. We even set up a SKYPE event with a posted date and time on Sunday when most folks should be free, and not one of the of the 27 (not including Judge characters) post responders could be bothered to attend. Someone told me the “community” of Disco has some 11,000 members. Assuming that is true then .25% of that total speak for the entire 11,000 person community? And they are calling us arrogant and presumptive, along with a lot of other digs, shots and smears?
3,096 have read the thread as of this writing. 27 have responded, I would say 5 in a positive way, and 22 in a negative way. These are all numbers. Count, determine for yourself.
To the “Quarter Percent”, we the Judges are not you. We do not speak for 11,000 people as you seem to. We would not presume to say that we do. We have tried to fit in a RP Lore in the several holes that currently exist in Disco Lore. There is no single “Book of Disco” but rather dozens of smaller books that sometimes fit together and sometimes not to make the “Book of Disco”. Each faction has its own contribution and own interpretation. It is interesting, but by no means cohesive. We tried to fit the Judges in such a way as to disturb no one else’s lore. Anyone else who has read all (some were not really “books” but a few paragraphs) the books of disco lore, I will happily chat with. It took me about two weeks, most of which was finding it.
I am in charge of the Judges, by election. As with many of you we have a list of atrocities and unfair treatments to choke a horse, some committed by some of you over the past year. We are trying to get past that. Also, we are now 26 active members and are in fact, a part of the Disco “community.” In fact a very active and thriving part by the Disco counters. Yet even this you malign.
We will continue to grow and continue to pursue our mission as we see it. We will continue to defend our people. It is my real hope that 22 people do not represent 11,000 gamers as they seem to think they do. While my 26 people are a small part of the 11,000, none of us recall electing a spokesman, or having one appointed.
