Colin squints at the low-resolution image attached to Mr. Pulaskis application for a while, and starts nodding slowly and stroking his non-existant beard as he realizes that it actually is a picture of a man and not a pink blob with a few floppy (broken?) vaguely arm-shaped appendages he's looking at...
"Yes, yes... He'll do nicely..."
...and then, still stunned by this recent revelation, he starts fumbling through his drawers for his large chunky stam-
"Ah, there we go."

Brief Biography: Born on planet Erie, raised in wealthy family, Daniel Hurpy had great childhood. After finishing college he decided to make money at DSE, but that wasn't his dream job. He wants to join LPI - to protect his home and serve Liberty.
Reasons for Joining: To serve and protect Liberty and her people. Oh, and discount at Sunbucks.
We'd like to know a bit more about you before we can consider you for the Liberty Police Inc.. The "brief biography" that you handed in was, well, a bit too brief; it doesn't really tell us a lot about you. We'll gladly reconsider you application if you correct this issue.
I'd suggest having a look at some of the other recent applications for an idea about how long/elaborate your biography section should be.

Colin thumbed through the lengthy report on Mr. Mizushima that came along with his application, forwarded by a Ms. Ann Cunningham - his psychologist, apparently - and the letter of recommendation from Recruit Officer Paul Rogers, smiled, and started jotting down a short personal note on his datapad in reply.

I'm impressed that you have made it this far. You should consider yourself lucky; not everyone gets a chance to start anew like you have, Mr. Mizushima. Most slaves never see freedom again for the rest of their lives - I sincerely hope that you will make the best out of your new new lease on life.

We'll hopefully have your Liberator and office cubicle ready at Fort Bush by the time you read this message. And last, but not least: Welcome to Liberty, Recruit.
-Colin Sinclair, Deputy Chief of the Liberty Police, Inc.
Previous Jobs: Fort Bush Jr. Engineer, tasked with supervision of LPI vessels condition and filing material requests for repairs to superior officer.
Qualifications: Medium Flight training received at Manhattan Civilian Flight Instruction, Ship and Equipment repairs and supervision, Highschool Diploma.
Brief Biography: Born on Manhattan, Eric liked fooling around with gizmos, and trying to fix stuff ever since he was a kid. He spent alot of time at his mother's workplace on Fort Bush as she was an engineer aswell and her work only served to satisfy the boy's interest and curiosity, learning a little bit each day along the way.
Reasons for Joining: Both Eric's father, his grandfather and several generations before that have served in the LPI. It is all the boy has ever known aside from fixing things, and so he decided to follow the family tradition by applying for the LPI.
Colin quickly read through Mr. Draven's report, pausing now and then to verify his claims against the Liberty Police officer roster.
"Always good to see new recruits with maintenance experience..."

[*]Brief Biography:
My name is Xamarl Varax, Chosen by myself as I had permanent memory loss from an attack on myself and family en-route to Manhattan from Pittsburgh while I was young, I was the only survivor and a group of Liberty Rouges were seen fleeing the area according to the LPI and ever since then I have vowed to pursue and bring justice to criminals in Liberty space.
After several years freelancing/Bounty hunting around Liberty space (mostly the New York system) trying to find my way and how I should go about achieving my goal of justice I am fed up with the criminals in my home system and wish to join the LPI to rid Liberty and the Sirius sector of the criminals that make life so hard for the honest and law abiding citizens of our great expanse.
[*]Reasons for Joining:
To rid Liberty and furthermore the Sirius sector of the criminals that ruin the lives of hard working and honest citizens.

Colin sat in his office, resting in his worn wingback chair facing out towards the large window that gave him an unparalleled view out over the sprawling base Police Plaza eventually had become, and watched the busy traffic coming to and from the base at this time of day. Glancing over at his datapad, he noted that "this time of day" was approximately three AM SMT, and sighed.
-
"Deputy? Sorry to interrupt, but you've got mail. New applications, mostly."
It was his secretary at the door, carrying a rather sizeable stack of printouts. Another quick look at his datapad told him that the clock was closer to eight AM.
"Right. I was wondering when those were going to show up. On my desk, please."

This looks like a relatively solid application to me, mr. Varax, so consider it done.

I do, however, have a small question for you out of curiousity: For how long were you doing bounty hunting work before you submitted this application? I can't seem to see any mention of this except for "several years" about halfway into your application.
But enough of that. Welcome to the force, Recruit - I'll send you a 5-KYP3 comms protocol contact request as soon as possible so I can get you added to our private channel and acquainted with the rest.
