If a consensus with the Benitez is reached and we have each other's full support, then I couldn't see why not. But two problems remain. The Corsairs main power is in the independants and the independants outnumber the factioned players 3-1 at least, while having bigger (and more useless) ships.
I actually have no doubt that the Memoria could wipe many of them out before going down herself, and with the Artemis in tow with some bombers, it really shouldn't pose much of a problem if push comes to shove. And then, there are the Benitez's fleet, which is also sizeable.
We're working on it (as the Labour government would say and then brush under the carpet).
They'll take advantage of such swithering. Hit them hard and fast! You guys have teamwork, which they won't. That works wonders. Plus, you don't have to kill them all at once.
My only real addition to this discussion is this:
I haven't even played for 6 weeks, and I can tell its getting worse.
When I came to this community, it filled a hole in my life, and kept me alive for a few weeks. It had something that I really can't describe, that was beautiful, and it made me want to be part of the community, enough that I wanted to live.
I want that back. That sense of community, of togetherness.
I think it is, of course, the cost of the size of Disco, that it isn't cohesive in that way anymore. And its a horrible loss, that I lament every day.
