I've already shared my thoughts with Yuki and others about the perceived intention of turning the Hogosha into Kusari Corporation Mk III, so won't bring that up here.


The statement by the Prime Minister reacts well to the situation caused by the Hogosha, in line with his 'Kishiro leanings' too.
I'd hope that there was some ooRP agreement about the outcome, otherwise it'd be time for KNF to start counting their battleships (*cough* faction rollcall *cough*), call in their "smart allies" the Gauls, or perhaps ignore some Dragon/Outcast ones coming in. Time to make some Hogosha and Farmer bombers perhaps...

Probably because there was that unfortunate revolution within Kusari. While vanilla Hogos fit well within a vanilla Kusari, they don't really do so within the current one.
You could as well ask the devs why they'd turn Kusari into something it wasn't in vanilla. (They'll most likely blame Igiss though)

The base was constructed by the KSP. So the question is: Do the KSP own NT? And the answer is: Yes they do. (well, technically they don't but at least it's carrying their IFF)

Fair enough, but if they've lost their raison d'être why not just wipe them rather than create an odd situation that just doesn't fit in with current government and players that frequent Kusari?

With Samura out in the cold, I'm surprised that the Hogs don't keep more of a low profile, rather than aiming at high-profile New Tokyo terror.

Tired of arguing as no matter what you say here? The base owners, and there pals will make up an excuse why that base is "LEGAL". So on that note. Name a date and i will bring in my KNF BS or GRN BS to help the siege.
If Government wants to keep silent, then KNF can take over the situation.

I'd say if that had ever been considered before nailing down the coup, the whole revolution never would have happened. But as far as I've been told turning Kusari into a republic was part of that mysterious old masterplan of Igiss and just got followed through with.
What could help here is fixing the storyline of a whole house the same way several faction writeups have been wiped and redone. Wipe the .86 history in the next mod update and add a more logical one. But I guess I'm being too radical here.

The Hogos are more pro-Kishiro these days since they are the one "holding the power". Hence the request to soften the GMG-Hogosha-rephacks.
Whether that's actually beneficially for the faction or not is another issue. Personally I think Kishiro has the most awkward situation of all corporate factions. Can't help but have to imagine Gateway posing the Bretonian government with Molly support.

So, the only reason then the KNF don't selling battleships to the any people around - is power output problems? You can sell KNF and KSP ID's as well to anyone.
If the Hogosha flying "legally bought" KB - you say that's lawful?

Kusari Codex forbid the assaulting of "legal vessels".
That restriction is for players only, not their "npc" bases? What reason of that choice any way? Or for now legality of vessels in Kusari space is determine by one strange base, and she is not looking for players ID's, IFF and anything like any other NPC in the game? So "government" players can just sit and look on "rightful" assault for fun?
This base makes LEGAL vessel as ILLEGAL. Ignoring their ID's. It's terroristic base btw.

Hogosha don't have any base near tradeline on vanilla and disco because they IS some sort of pirates in both games. It is they role, hiddance, smuggling, quasy-legal. Only some choice of some people marked them as legal corporation of Kusari. It's crime revolution, like vanilla nomad invasion to Rheinland anyway. New rules, agressive actions, protect of illegals but not legal.
