Ah but it does. Those capactities that ought to have dealt with this long ago are now finally doing it. Can't help but think that the sudden change of heart has a little bit to do with the way winds have been blowing over the last few weeks.

And then the Government can give the go ahead for all us KNF and allies to swarm it with caps, and keep shields up until it go's boom. Works for me. I got 4 Mortars mounted then can hit without being hit.

it has what, 7 platforms now? that none the less respawn 15 seconds later after destruction, ya that base is staying for a long time, the KNF OK'ed it, the KSP OK'ed it and the Hogosha so far are obaying Kusarian law. its just the fact people cant land on said station that belongs to the IC or the planet is all they are mad about. its funny atleast for the IC's part, there's a IC station close by if we need cover
I don't find any problem with the station and so far the only people that have a problem with it are those that have lost bases, cant trade there, cant leave Planet New Tyoko because the hogosha want to turn them into sushi and a few angered KNF (not all! ) as far as it goes really, the base is going to stand, and a shot at it is a shot against the government authorization and none the less gets hit with 4 plat forms in the process

Yes, but in the case where the Hogosha ignore the government and refuse to compromise in any way, that would open the way for a FR5 on the entire BDS from the KNF/KSP. That would be a lot more damaging for them than the temporary time period whereby the base was going berserk in orbit.
It'll be interesting to see how this goes. It's in the best interest of all parties concerned to find a middle-ground settlement. You guys will also notice that the Hogosha aren't being asked to give up the base. They're just being asked to change the IFF, which is more than fair as a request.

I also read that those platforms were ordered to be removed, and base put back to KSP IFF by the government.
As for shooting it? I sat there shooting it with Mortars for an hour without getting hit. Turrets have less range then mortars or missiles. So if KNF decided to circle it, and blockade it keeping shields up so no re-supply? not an issue. If Hogosha then fired on these KNF i think the Kusari government would really be pissed, and as Jammi mentioned the FR5s would be a flying. Maybe Hogosha rep/RP may even be majorly altered.

Actually, they are not being asked to change the IFF at all
Quote:We are at this time mandating the following actions:
Itabashi's defense armaments are to be dismantled immediately, and the base's defense be entrusted to the State Police and Naval Forces.
Itabashi's administrative responsibilities be returned to the Kusari State Police, who will then determine the future of the station.
So what's being demanded is that the WP's be removed and the base turned over to another owner.
Now, if the Kusari government is willing to reimburse the BDS for this turnover, I'm sure that something could be arranged.
