The subtitle is a joke. Ha. Laugh.

OK, down to business. This is a battle between the LPI Patriot squadron and any pirates that deem to come. The following are accepted:

Rogue Bloodhounds
Lane Hacker Daggers
LH~ Daggers (discuss the difference in a bit)
Xeno Hawks
Outcast (Pirate ID) Daggers

Bounty Hunter Piranhas are also accepted to fight for the LPI, and if the SA wants to enter a Defender or two they're more than welcome.

Equipment Restrictions

Armor Upgrades- NO (Asteroids rampage but whatever..)
CD- NO (LH will not carry any Train CDs but Train CD will be mounted)
Driller Mines- YES (Anything above, asteroids will do enough)
Please oh please keep it in RP!

Naming Conventions

This is an event, so we want official names. They should be set up like this for the non-faction players:

Firstname.Lastname[Rogues]
Firstname.Lastname[Hackers]
Firstname.Lastname[Xenos]
Firstname.Lastname[Outcasts]
Firstname.Lastname[BHG] (if they are allowed)

The LPI have their tags of LPI-Firstname.Lastname, and the official LH faction have their tags as well.

Location

This it to be determined, however it will not be in New York. More than likely this is going to occur in California, but Colorado and Texas are options as well.

How to apply

For the LPI side, you must be in the LPI faction. To join the pirates, I ask that you post here the name of your character and the affiliation. Please, I also ask that you set up a uniform loadout amongst your light fighters.

Roleplay

First event (2/17) -LPI vs. Hackers and Rogues; California

The LPI is to escort an Ageira IDed Rhino full of experimental weapons from Detroit Munitions to Willard Research station. This is to be a top-secret movement, however the Lane Hackers learn of it and move to intercept. They disrupt the Trade Lane from Mojave to California Minor and lay in wait, along with some of their Rogue allies. The trap springs, and fighting ensues.

Unlawful objective: Capture the Rhino and experimental weapons. Destroy all LPI fighters, then have a Dromedary with Spaceship crew (or LH/LR pilots) transfer them to the Rhino, 'capturing' it. They will leave the system, then.

Lawful objective: Protect the Rhino. Destroy all unlawful ships, however, the Dromedary escapes. (neither freighter is destroyed).

*note: The Rhino's weapons are all Stunpulse turrets, to discourage pirates from getting too close.

Second event (2/24) - LPI vs. Hackers and Rogues, part II; California

If LPI victory last week... They land on California Minor to take on repairs, and an investigation is carried out to find the suspected 'leak' that had told the Hackers of the Rhino and weaponry. The next day, a Liberty Navy Defender defects, leaving Battleship Yukon and flees to Mactan. There, it is stripped and re-IFF'd (tell me if the Liberty guns should be swapped for Hacker guns*) and prepares to help the Hackers in their second attempt on the Rhino. This time the Trade Lane disrupt comes in the trade lane to from California Minor the Willard, in the ice field. Battle ensues, same objectives as before.

If pirate victory last week... The same investigation is carried out, the Navy Defender defects. This time, the LPI is attempting to recapture the Rhino, taking another LPI tagged/ID'd Rhino full of SWAT marines. They intercept the Rhino at the Cortez Jump Hole, and a battle ensues.

Third event (3/2) - LPI vs. Xenos; Colorado

The LPI receives a distress call from a Mining Ship in the Silverton field, and moves to help the ship. It turns out to be a Xeno ambush, and a fight ensues (any suggestions on this one is welcome*).

Fourth event (3/9) - LPI vs. ?; ?

To be determined, suggestions welcome.

**More than likely will change, please post ideas to make it better, as well as ideas on the location.

Right... two important things to discuss:

1. Armor upgrades (allowed or not... which level if yes)

2. Nuclear mines

Would be fun and deadly... but it might go down to only using them.

Right. The LPI uses Mk II armor upgrades on their Patriots, and correct me if I'm wrong but Razor mines? Yeah, Nuke mines probably wouldn't be a good idea...

*pictures one mine wiping out five fighters*

No.

No nuke mines please.
LPI is restricted to Screamer, so i would suggest the rest getting those as well.
It's enough that both Hawk and Dagger outclasses a Patriot:)

Curses, now I have a liberator.... time to make a new character just to get a patriot (don't worry I'll finance it:)), if that is done count me in.

I'll throw up a heads up on the Xeno forums. If we join in the fun we'll likely forgo armor upgrades in light of the class differences, and restrict our weapon class/mine use to be in line with the other forces.

Me neither:lol:

@Dusty - it would be nice to restrict weapons a bit, thanks.
Last time i fought Hawk in my Patriot, he had a huge advantage in weapon class.
I had class 3 top, he had class 6 and 5 i think.
It was funny though, as i managed to survive for a very long time:yes:

So, shall we put top class 3/4 on weapons, please? Because Hawks will pretty much own anything out there..
