Prefer the Irish stuff, smoother then the Bourbon or Scotsh.

Problem is the funds though

I love Bells Whiskey, I touch Jack Daniels now and again in parties too.

I keep being told that I'd love this Irish whiskey but I can't recall the name.

As for bourbon, not had any yet. I think.

Bourbon, whisk(e)y, I love it all.

From 5€ bourbon to 15-year Single Malts, I will enjoy it all.

That stuff is great.

I'm a great fan of scotch whiskeys in particular. Despite what some may say my favourite is The Famous Grouse despite being a blend. I recommend it with a slosh of water, it really opens up the flavours. It's not bad in terms of price either. On occasion I'l go for a Tallisker but it's a very challenging whiskey and not really for those getting started with the whole whiskey thing. Glenturret is also pretty good for a single malt although it's not fully in tune with my tastes.

But as a patriot I've got to say I'm also a big fan of Penderyn (fletcher knows what i'm on about), it's a bit different to the highland sort because it's a welsh whiskey and is only once distilled. If you want a really good treat I recommend the Sherry cask whiskey they've been bottling recently, I much prefer it to the Port or the standard Madeira casks.

I used to be quite prejudiced against Jameson's Irish whiskey but I think it's purely because my first tipple of it was from a bottle that was rather old. However I've had some since and it's a really cracking beverage to sip if your out in a decent pub.

Bourbon whiskeys aren't really my cup of tea, although despite it goes against my morals to commend Jack Daniels on anything, I have to admit their latest honey blend is actually pretty nice. I keep telling myself to get a bottle, it's quite a nice drink to have straight on ice.

If it ain't a single malt Scotch and older than 12 years, it ain't worth drinking...

I'm ashamed to say I've never found a bottle of this stuff. It shall be added on my list of shopping this week. Confused
