I find this disrespectful towards those who worked making those systems.

I'd say it's not meant as disrespectful but more as a move towards "bottlenecking" movement, increasing activity overall and actual encounters without everyone being spread throughout this damned universe. It happens sometimes a tad too much too my likings I travel long distances and hardly comes across someone.

But I could be wrong.
