This is first time I have actualy seen Zoners gathering themselves in plain "corporation". There are numerous Zoners who created several and lucrative businesses such as OSI, however they still follow Zoner way of life to the core. As I am of Zoner origin myself, I have always considered corporations to go against ideals of this movement, whose first members originally escaped house colonial control where corporate influence is at highest and deeply rooted.

Furthermore all major Zoner organisations: Phoenix, OSI, TAZ have agreed to this directive, which will propably force you to re-think your stance towards not new directive.

Thank you for your support in making Sirius at least a little more safe place for everyone.

Should you be interested in reasons behind this, I am willing to send non-classified data packet which concent is enough to give you some light on events behind the scenes. Primarly it is to remind independent Zoners as of very few restrictions we impose on everyone else. Unlike Guild Core who want to limit flow of technology to themselves only, we can be negotiated with.

News of Rheinland corporations in edge worlds are rather unnusual... I will leave it up to separate comm channel between our two organisations. I will be glad to receive any evidence and information you have on this trend as you describe.

Yes our research is not into Nomad weaponry, however we are researching, developing and constructing countermeasures that do require at least 24 Nomad materials. Though at this present time we have sought no need to have these items in our possession, as we are presently engaged in other research and construction.

We will listen to our fellow Zoner's and take heed of their warning's. However should our Research & Development Division require these parts, then three ships will be sent to collect these materials. As stated by your directive

2.Ships signaling the correct Zoner ID are allowed to transport small nomad remains to research, but not more then 10 units.

3.Transporting nomad remains of gunboat or even battleship size is off-limits to everyone outside the Order and will be confiscated if caught smuggling.

We will not be smuggling, merely transporting the required amount for our Research & Development Division.

In the near future the Alliance will meet and discuss further into this matter but until then we will say that anymore hostile acts(physical/verbal) towards ZA pilots will be frowned upon and may cause further rifts to form.

"It feels a bit strange to have the Order command question which group may or may not be considered a Zoner. You are free to consider the JIVA as you like though because the term Zoners was coined by other people to describe the multitude of motivations that drove those of us who are not so easily categorized as a military or paramilitary organization.

Motivation of the JIVA corporation is unbound research, free from the eyes of govermental or military organizations that influence research to do their bidding. We wish to stay clear of an authoritative institution that can tell us what we can and cannot do other than recognized Zoner groups.

This is not meant to be defensive or hostile against Order influence or manipulation of our work but it is our principle that we abstain from groups that attempt to claim the right to impose military law on us.
Since your consequences described included the attack and destruction of our ships or contracted ships, and consequently their inevitable death, this group has decided that we must not deal with such a group beyond the utmost necessary. We may understand such martial law but we do not share it. We are a civilized people who do not believe in the death sentence without impartial trial.

The times when one side embodied the accuser, judge and executioner in one are a reason i and my fellow colleagues have left the house worlds, where ignorance and power rule, where life is cheap and the enforcing powers never hesitate to kill rather than to reason.

With that said, you may call the JIVA group whatever you like, but we will not submit to a military organization that would kill hundreds without trial before an impartial court, an organization that would kill even the innocent crew members for what they believe is the folly of their superiors.
That is why we abandon research on nomad specimen and conduct research on micro-organisms and nanospores. That way our ways do not need to cross and we do not need to submit to your laws.

Greetings gentlemen...
I was just doing some catch up on the latest reports of whats going on around siruis now day...
As some of you may know I have taken a back set when it comes to politics of lately and left most of the foreign affairs
stuff to my second in command Zoner-Trader.
Yet after reading much of whats been going on of lately I feel the need to have my own say,point out one or two things etc

First off the order may not recognize the Zoner Allaince as an officail group or take what we say seriously.
Now I know we haven't always been the best of examples when it comes to being zoner and we've made one or two mistakes along the way..
But I ask you this gentle if where not seen to be of any official standing or recognized group then who's defense outputs is it that are stationed both sides of the omicron 74 system...
You might not recognise us as any kind of officail zoner group yet we've been here for quite some time now and where
the ones who head up the first line of defense in the omicron 74 system...
Any and all hostile actions or vessels that try and enter the omicron 74 zoner guard space is dealt with by us....
Our stations defend that system and its people from threats like the nomads etc.
Frankly and to be plainly blunt I don't care how other non zoner groups see us or what officail standings you think we
do or don't have.
Were here always have been and aways will be and we will have our say.

Secondly as others here have pointed out we will respect your laws in your systems.
But don't in any means try to in force then in zoner space.
Plus using threatening behavior is not acceptable...

If you have a problem with what were doing then contact us and we'll try and sort the matter peacefully.
Bringing your order vessels into zoner space and acting like military dictators and enforcing your own laws in our space is neither acceptable or will be tolorated...

That said we will try our best to comply with your laws if you will show us some respect and act with a more kinder
interface when it comes to our vessels and people...

Scientist Asgaror - here I apologize for not being able to correctly transcribe your name.

My observation is only result of my lifetime experience spent among Zoners of border and edge worlds. This was by no means official Order's stance, unless said otherwise. I hope you will remember that unrestricted research is double edged sword and "autocratic" - as you describe - The Order imposes absolute minimum of restrictions comparing to houses or other Omicron dwelling organisations with exceptions of the Zoners.

If Order was not here to provide expertese and assume moral high ground on topic of Nomad tech, amoral Guild Core would have taken your research results by force, perhaps even enslave you. I understand your concerns that we might act arrogant in doing so and this system is not perfect - none is. Would there be a better solution, it would be taken into consideration.

For you to run totally free research institution, you would have to quit explored and inhabited parts of Sirius. Every system is claimed, everywhere there is certain faction whose influence sets their own order across the void of space. In harsh environment of Omicrons, death is given often - and hope it will be given justly. Elimination of one individual can save two more elsewhere. Whether you like it or not, this is ugly calculus of survival of humanity as a species and The Order takes this responsibility. This is how we avoided apocalypse during first Nomad War.

As of you, Mr Mow.

I would recommend creating your own annoucment channel. I would preffer to keep this comm free of messages that are not at least partially relevant to Nomad materials directive. Do not take it as offense, just a advise.

I am curious what do you need nomad remains for to secure yourselves from influence of Nomad mindshare. I am not a scientist but even I know your best bet in this subject is research on how human brain reacts to Nomads themselves.

I think you know me well enough to know that I am not interested in Nomad technology and it's forbidden for anyone in TAZ to possess. If you find TAZ with it, do let me know.
I will also say this. Long ago, you had an Order scientist. I knew him only as "The Doctor." He devoted his life to researching the Nomad. Where he went I don't know. I have begun researching the Nomads so I will be keeping samples on occasion. I seek knowledge and nothing more. I ask that my work not be interrupted.

Don't take this as my taking their side but it was humanity that infringed upon Nomad space when leaving Sol. If they're angry, I can understand why.

I'm not sure if we've met, but on behalf of Freeport 10 and the resident Commonwealth Zoners of the Base I'd like to add reassurance that we don't deal in either Nomad Technology or Remains and have no plans to take up an interest in the future.

As you know we are some distance away from the Omicrons in any event and to even visit is a serious expedition for the Commonwealth given the current size of our fleet.

Having said that, as we expand our interests, we may well find a reason for visiting, and in that respect we do keep an ear to the ground concerning current affairs in your region, so we know what to expect when traveling.

In the meantime, should you find yourself in need of visiting the Taus, come to 37, you'll find a more than cordial welcome on Freeport 10. You might also find yourself surprised at how well the Base is beginning to flourish now that we are injecting some investment capital.

Sorry for the late reply i was speaking to the R&D Division, it seems we require these remains for Cloaking Technology, however the wrecks are stripped of their outer armour fibres. I will have the full report regarding this, but the scientist assure me that after outer fibres are removed then the rest of the remains are destroyed. Strange i know, but ill be going to a meeting and they will hand me the full report etc..tommorrow.

Which i will open a secure comms with the Order High Command to review our current findings.
