I was referring to me and Jetblack in our Outcast Corvos, Ganototosu and Rioreusu, attacking Malaclypse Freeport. The fight dragged on from Baffin to Tau 29.

And if anyone's going to use the excuse of "you were lolwutting and you were Doj and Jetblack", two wrongs don't make a right, and you'd simply be looking for an excuse for your own pathetic behavior.

Another point I should add; bases built ontop of jumpholes or jumpgates in public systems. It's reasonable in a guard system or other special locations such as Alaska, but it becomes even worse than any kind of griefing you could achieve with conventional means when you place it in a public system like Dublin or New London, which are used very regularly by almost any kind of player. And why? Because the people who built the base in question are too lazy to log on and actually interact with anyone using those jumpholes or jumpgates, and rather have a static object deal with it in a pretty sad way which rarely goes any other way than the person dying.

Ah, a more recent one. Well, same applies for the CR|s given you are Outcasts and attacking our allies - everyone else is either shooting Outcasts, upholding the Pentabarf, defending Zoner stations or claiming the bounty on your head. And kind of because you were lolwutting around (albeit I was amused by the forum work).

Zoners aren't anyone's allies, except the GMG and Order to an extend (and even that is stupid as it goes completely against the canon role of a Zoner; completely independent beings). If anything, the most logical course of action would have been the Zoners solving their issues alone, with -maybe- the 101st lending a hand since obviously, the two captains of those Corvos were insane. The BHG had no bounties to claim as it was an unlawful one. The Rogue was completely out of his ZoI, in a cruiser, yet he and the BHG shaked hands at the end of the encounter and left each other alone as if they just had some sweet Newark ero-leplay.

How can it be the bases, isn't it about time people owned up for their own actions?

Bases are inherently neutral it is how some people behave with them that is the problem.

If people are being oorp report them. The admins have slapped heavy punishments on oorp base fights before. Taking away the things people like to stop them fighting over them, only results in the server having nothing people like. Its just like with dublin gold mining, dont blame something else for a specific persons retardation.

Remove the ability to form stupid NAPs and the issue might get closer to being solved.

I mean, powergaming influence over nomads is pure lunacy right? :S

Anything I say is not intended as offensive, and to try and deliberately misinterpret it as such would be an attempt at trolling via misrepresentation.

It's not a conspiracy, it's localised bias. They're not intelligent enough to form a conspiracy.

Thank you for that, typical Disco response from a certain quarter.

How about expanding on my comment about why it is bases rather than the people controlling bases that are the problem, instead of a flippant comment based on silly supposition

Voted no, obviously. Zoner bases instakilling stuff at JHs, Hogosha bases shooting traders in front of New Tokyo, Council capitals sieging a Solaris base and blowing up Solaris ID'd transport ships on a regular basis, also that Bretonian base that got instantly shut down without any prior RP to it. That's what I remember.

Now this Phoenix Freeport incident.
