EDIT: *laughs at self* and here I thought all these double posts were really just people trying to get higher post counts.

I spose not only is it legit, but even an old guy like me can learn sumthin new, even if he's violently opposed to it...

Sending transmission...
To: 101st Ghosts of Razgriz Communication Channel
Subject: Rheinland Gunship "Louis"

Yesterday while on patrol in my Shamshir, I and an ESS destroyer confronted a Freelancer at the helm of a Rheinland Gunship. He said he would leave and come back after changing his ship.

Today, while on patrol in the Apparition, I and the captain of the Bellum Phasmatis confronted the same freelancer in the same Rheinland Gunship. We escorted him back to Tau-37, and warned him that if he shows up again without a more acceptable ship or other acceptable reason to be there, he will be killed.

I do not have any recordings, but the ship was armed primarily with Zoner weaponry, and broadcasting a Hacker IFF signature - probably hacked. The freelancer seemed to have no idea what he was doing, unsurprisingly.

Rheinland is getting desperate if they're passing out gunships to everyone that wants one and hoping for the best. It's a sad state of affairs when our biggest danger in an entire region is a former ally.

End of transmission.

...Encryption Transmission...
From: Captain Alberto Carrera
To: Malta's intelligence Service
Copy to 101st HQ
Subject: Intelligence
Priority: *HIGH*

Good day senors and senoras. Sure, our priority goal is defending Alpha & Outcast space, but hope you will agree, that we are also must to know more about our enemies - Corsairs. Me and a Lieutenant Commander Brandon Garrison got a request from MIS to help them with it. They were needed in scouts, which can bring them an info about Corsairs shipyards. But well, not about a little Skiros Station (wich are working as a repair base as I think) and not about an old Tripoli. So, they downloaded Omicron Gamma nav. map to our Sabres. After a short briefing in a MIS office we launch in space. As we understood, out target was Omicron 91.
There were no problems in passing via Eta & Theta. But in Gamma... well, Omicron 91 jumphole are close to Crete, so. the Sairs detected our ships, when we were jumping to that system.
But well, the Sairs ships weren't a big problem, such as .... such as a Corsair Battleship in front of jumphole in Omicron 91. God save us, they didn't get enough fast what happened and we had some time to run away from it, before they opened fire.
I made some guncam screens with that Battleship:
[Image: om91.jpg][Image: Om917.jpg]

We continue our scouting in the asteroid field and soon our scanners detected another base. But didn't look like a shipyards. Possible it's a factory, but I don't know yet.
[Image: om911.jpg][Image: Om916.jpg]

After it we had a visual contact with another station. It wasn't detected by our scanners, so, we checked it. It was a Barselona station, maybe the biggest station in system.
[Image: Om912.jpg][Image: Om915.jpg]

We tried to find any shipyards, but unfortunatly we didn't find any. Just a jumphole in an unknown asteroid field with a big dose of radiation to empty system - Omicron 93.

But we weren't alone. Corsairs also followed us and tried to kill. But in that day luck was on our side. We jumped to Gamma and moved to home. Unfortunatly, bloody Sairs destroyed Brandon's ship, but I took his escape pod and back it to Malta. Also, we captured a Sair pilot in Omicron 91. Maybe he will tell us more about it.

There is an approximate map of the Omicron 91.

Alberto Carrera out.

***Incoming Transmission***
***Comm-ID: Nero D'Ortona***
***Subject: Rogue vessel MNS-Catharsis/Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship***

Hola,

while being in Malta's orbit today I received word of an outcast MNS-tagged vessel in California. I've established contact to said ship to talk to the captain. I intended to tell her that she would have to leave Liberty unless she had a good reason to stay there, and furthermore register her ship as I couldn't find it in the database. I was confronted with the following:

The Captain of said vessel has obviously gone rogue and doesn't care a thing about the outcast nation and our government. I've tried to explain to the captain what she was really doing there and that wasting our capital ships down there would harm the whole outcast nation. In fact I achieved nothing but wasting time.
I then decided to contact the next Liberty Rogue to inform the about the circumstances. He was able to tell me that the vessel was of the destroyer class. As we've experienced a couple of times, showing mercy to undiscerning captains and commanders encourages other to follow them, that's why I encouraged our allies to solve the matter. I think we should keep an eye on said vessel and make an example on the captain as her completely lack of respect towards our government as well as our forces could harm the order within our nation.

I'll attach the complete comm-log:

Quote:[22.11.2009 11:47:58] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Captain of the Catharsis, this is Nero D'Ortona of the 101st, please state your vessel class
[22.11.2009 11:48:53] MNS-Catharsis: Not sure, but we're big.
[22.11.2009 11:48:57] MNS-Catharsis: I mean, really big.
[22.11.2009 11:48:59] MNS-Catharsis: Like totally big.
[22.11.2009 11:49:04] MNS-Catharsis: And *hic* a tad drunk.
[22.11.2009 11:49:21] MNS-Catharsis: Oh baby! I got an idea! You can call us X! X! L!
[22.11.2009 11:49:40] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: being drunk is actually a bad idea for someone commanding something big
[22.11.2009 11:49:46] MNS-Catharsis: *falls over backwards, out of her chair*
[22.11.2009 11:50:02] MNS-Catharsis: *tries to crawl back in and looks at the viewscreen*
[22.11.2009 11:50:04] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Well, I suggest you pick something to wrote my words down or record this transmission, so you will remember it later
[22.11.2009 11:50:09] MNS-Catharsis: Ugh... well... uh.
[22.11.2009 11:50:13] MNS-Catharsis: How 'bout...
[22.11.2009 11:50:15] MNS-Catharsis: HELL NAW!
[22.11.2009 11:50:38] MNS-Catharsis: Not lik... *hic* like I'd care anyway.
[22.11.2009 11:50:55] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Oh, you will care, for your own good and the good of your crew
[22.11.2009 11:51:00] MNS-Catharsis: I'm bloody tired of playing traffic control outside of Malta, and so's the crew!
[22.11.2009 11:51:16] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Ah, so you have an idea what this is about
[22.11.2009 11:51:18] MNS-Catharsis: I care by gettin' them to places! Showing them the universe! And Sirius! And and and... ugh... where am I?
[22.11.2009 11:52:02] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: that's only half the issue, fielding a big ship into places where you won't have the necessary support or maintenance
[22.11.2009 11:52:26] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: the other part is, I've just checked the Council capship registry
[22.11.2009 11:52:43] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: All MNS vessels have to register there
[22.11.2009 11:53:21] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: I hope you turned your recorder on
[22.11.2009 11:54:01] MNS-Catharsis: Uh.
[22.11.2009 11:54:03] MNS-Catharsis: Well.
[22.11.2009 11:54:11] MNS-Catharsis: Let m... *hic* me put it this way.
[22.11.2009 11:54:18] MNS-Catharsis: I don't care about your council.
[22.11.2009 11:54:35] MNS-Catharsis: According to your, and I say your 'cause it ain' mine, that Council... according to it...
[22.11.2009 11:54:44] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: This council is yours aswell
[22.11.2009 11:54:47] MNS-Catharsis: I'm supposed to watch the Slavers and Smugglers outside Malta.
[22.11.2009 11:54:49] MNS-Catharsis: Nope!
[22.11.2009 11:54:53] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: It is
[22.11.2009 11:55:04] MNS-Catharsis: *raises her finger and then points it at the screen* It is -your- Council.
[22.11.2009 11:55:07] MNS-Catharsis: Not mine!
[22.11.2009 11:55:09] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: You are commanding an outcast capital ship, right?
[22.11.2009 11:55:09] MNS-Catharsis: Not anymore!
[22.11.2009 11:55:11] MNS-Catharsis: I don't care!
[22.11.2009 11:55:14] MNS-Catharsis: Nope!
[22.11.2009 11:55:16] MNS-Catharsis: Not anymore!
[22.11.2009 11:55:20] MNS-Catharsis: Hey wait.
[22.11.2009 11:55:24] MNS-Catharsis: That -IS- an idea!
[22.11.2009 11:55:25] MNS-Catharsis: Thanks!
[22.11.2009 11:56:32] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: B-B-BINGO!
[22.11.2009 11:56:37] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Problem solved.
[22.11.2009 11:56:38] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: *hic*
[22.11.2009 11:57:16] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: See? Not my Council anymore.
[22.11.2009 11:57:20] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: But yours! *giggles*
[22.11.2009 11:57:23] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Poor you.
[22.11.2009 11:57:31] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: *hic* Now you can do the traffic control part.
[22.11.2009 11:57:58] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: But me? And my crew? We're go... *leans back in her seat and almost falls out of it*... Ooops...
[22.11.2009 11:58:08] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Err... right. We... WE'RE GOING TO SEE THE UNIVERSE!
[22.11.2009 11:58:12] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: All of it! Wooo!
[22.11.2009 11:58:14] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: If you are intending to leave the outcast forces, I suggest to return OUR ship to us, otherwise you will loose it the hard way
[22.11.2009 11:58:24] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Uhm.
[22.11.2009 11:58:31] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Right now.
[22.11.2009 11:58:34] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Wait, idea!
[22.11.2009 11:58:40] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Let's ask the crew whose ship it is.
[22.11.2009 11:58:50] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: CREEEW! Tell 'im! Whose ship is this?
[22.11.2009 11:59:11] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Crew shouts in unison: YOURS YOURS YOURS! YOURS CAPTAIN! ALL YOURS! TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!
[22.11.2009 12:01:14] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: *hic*
[22.11.2009 12:01:16] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Right.
[22.11.2009 12:01:36] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: As you can or can not see, this ship... whoa waaait, I think we need a n.. *hic* new name.
[22.11.2009 12:02:14] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Anyways, ain' your ship anymore! All mine!

[22.11.2009 12:02:17] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: And I?
[22.11.2009 12:02:47] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: I'll hand this issue to the Council, until then, you are most likely Kill on Sight by our forces
[22.11.2009 12:02:47] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: *rips the Maltese Navy badge off her uniform and flings it away*
[22.11.2009 12:03:10] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: I ain' part of your Navy, I ain't giving a rat's smelly rear-end about -your- Council.
[22.11.2009 12:03:14] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: And the crew ain' either.
[22.11.2009 12:03:20] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: So send 'em all after us!
[22.11.2009 12:03:25] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: We can run faster than you lot can.
[22.11.2009 12:03:28] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: 'Sides!
[22.11.2009 12:03:34] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: I just wonder how a traitor like you got hands on one of our capital ships
[22.11.2009 12:03:34] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: We're waaay far ahead. *hic*
[22.11.2009 12:03:51] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Dun' you call me a traitor, I'm loyal to Malta!
[22.11.2009 12:03:59] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: You aren't
[22.11.2009 12:04:02] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: But not to the doltbags who let me run traffic control for ages.
[22.11.2009 12:04:20] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Is one thing to be loyal to your Council, another to be loyal to the good men and women on our home.
[22.11.2009 12:04:37] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: It was your choice to take command of a capital ship, you could aswell have worked in a fighter
[22.11.2009 12:04:45] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: I did once!
[22.11.2009 12:04:52] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: noone would have stopped you from flying to Liberty then
[22.11.2009 12:05:14] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Who cares 'bout Liberty, the whole durn universe is what I wan' to see!
[22.11.2009 12:05:33] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Liberty's just a small step on the road to infiniii..*hic* Infinity!
[22.11.2009 12:06:22] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Do so in a smaller ship, if you want to do it with your crew, do it in a liner or transport
[22.11.2009 12:06:39] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: But don't waste our military technology for your personal fun
[22.11.2009 12:07:25] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: That's why you are a traitor to Malta, this firepower is needed here to defend us against the corsairs
[22.11.2009 12:08:20] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Uh.
[22.11.2009 12:08:23] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Amigo.
[22.11.2009 12:08:32] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Last shift I had outside Malta...
[22.11.2009 12:08:35] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Four.
[22.11.2009 12:08:36] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: FOUR.
[22.11.2009 12:08:38] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: FOOOUR.
[22.11.2009 12:08:50] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Ranseurs out in upper orbit.
[22.11.2009 12:08:57] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Not one.
[22.11.2009 12:08:58] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: Not two.
[22.11.2009 12:09:01] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: No, not three.
[22.11.2009 12:09:03] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: FOUR.
[22.11.2009 12:09:23] Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship: *hic* I ain' cut for traffic control.

No the conversation with the Liberty rogue:

Quote:[22.11.2009 12:08:19] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: *establishing long range transmission*
[22.11.2009 12:08:25] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: greetings rogue
[22.11.2009 12:08:39] LR-I.Blame.Society: *Raises eyebrow*
[22.11.2009 12:08:43] LR-I.Blame.Society: Howdy there.
[22.11.2009 12:09:11] LR-I.Blame.Society: What do ya need?
[22.11.2009 12:09:19] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: I've got an information for you, seems one of our capital ships has gone rogue
[22.11.2009 12:09:41] LR-I.Blame.Society: I see, I heard some Rogues engaged an Outcast Destroyer earlier today.
[22.11.2009 12:09:43] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: It has been in California before and is in Ontario now
[22.11.2009 12:10:25] LR-I.Blame.Society: So, let me guess, you want us to stop it?
[22.11.2009 12:10:58] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: I just wanted you to feel free to do what ever you want with him
[22.11.2009 12:11:21] LR-I.Blame.Society: *Grins* I'll see to it that the ship gets sorted out.
[22.11.2009 12:11:24] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: The captain stated that he wouldn't have to listen to the outcast council, because it wouldn't be his council
[22.11.2009 12:11:54] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: So it's not one of our vessels anymore, And seeing our technology in the hands of others is something I dislike
[22.11.2009 12:12:18] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Except for allies, but they usually don't ask for our biggest ships
[22.11.2009 12:12:46] LR-I.Blame.Society: I'm assembling a force on the Liberty Rogue comms. as we speak.
[22.11.2009 12:13:01] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: current callsign is: Not.A.Maltese.Navy.Ship, former the MNS-Catharsis
[22.11.2009 12:13:13] LR-I.Blame.Society: We'll get it sorted out, and we could sell the scrap to the Junkers. They love that stuff. *Chuckles*
[22.11.2009 12:13:42] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: I'm not sure if it's the before mentioned destroyer, I sadly have no detailed information as that guy passed by our registry
[22.11.2009 12:14:01] LR-I.Blame.Society: It is actually.
[22.11.2009 12:14:05] LR-I.Blame.Society: Just checked it.
[22.11.2009 12:14:11] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Ah, good to know
[22.11.2009 12:14:18] LR-I.Blame.Society: The Crime Lord and co. had some fun with it, but it escaped.
[22.11.2009 12:15:03] LR-I.Blame.Society: Well, we'll surely have fun. Thanks for the word, we'll take care of it immediately.
[22.11.2009 12:15:47] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Meanwhile I'll head back to paperwork and inform my superiors
[22.11.2009 12:16:15] LR-I.Blame.Society: Roga, thanks again for the word.
[22.11.2009 12:16:26] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: If you notice another change of its callsign, please inform us so we can keep him tracked
[22.11.2009 12:16:36] LR-I.Blame.Society: Will do, Mantral out.
[22.11.2009 12:16:47] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Well, have fun with him, D'Ortona out

D'Ortona out

RE: Patrol Report

Encryption Level: MEDIUM

A busy day, amigos. I launched from Malta and was immediately asked for support in Tau 37. A number of Outcast vessels were in combat with Colonial forces near the Tau 23 jumphole. A few minutes after engaging I received transmissions from multiple ships that Bounty Hunter ships were in Alpha and help was needed. Seeing this as a larger threat, I immediately disengaged and began cruising to Alpha, as did a number of other vessels. After getting the invaders' location, I headed to Ibiza to interdict. Other ships were also converging on the threat. As soon as I got within sensor range, I saw a curious sight. The Bounty Hunter vessels, two bombers, were in combat with Corsair forces with the HAF designation. I saw this as an opportunity and ordered the assembling forces to not engage; to let them fight amongst each other and we would pick off the survivors. Unfortunately, that was not to last. Colonial forces entered Alpha and charged to the fighting. IMG vessels were also spotted in the system. Using the confusion, we centered our forces on the MNS-Moonlightning and entered combat. Since the Hunters and the Corsairs were already fighting one another, I ordered our forces to concentrate on the Colonials. While we were dealing with the Colonials, the hunters and cannibals whittled each other down. Eventually all that was left were two Colonial fighters, who fled.

We had just enough time to land and rearm before system sensors announced another wave of Corsairs entering the system. Capital class vessels this time, with minor escort. Concentrating fire, we destroyed an enemy dreadnought and another battleship; although the ESS Razorspine received major damage.

This is the second time in as many days that Colonial forces have entered Alpha. Perhaps a visit to their home system is needed to remind them to stay out of Maltese space.

Something else as well. While patrolling Tau 37 I spotted a major convoy of the Order. Four transports escorted by a gunboat and a fighter. The transports put in to Freeport 10 with Deuterium and carried off Niobium. I ordered them to stay out of Alpha but otherwise didnt interfere.

For Malta

***Incoming Transmission***
***Comm-ID: Nero D'Ortona***
***Subject: Patrol and events in Alpha***

Hola Admiral,

Today I'm sending your two reports packed into one. The first one covers a rather long patrol we had yesterday. After undocking from Cali I grouped up with Devon Xaero and Arturo Salieri in Tau-37 to escort the BLS transport Caltu'Re down to Liberty. Sadly we didn't make it very far, upon entering Tau-23 we already encountered a group of four Colonials who decided to chase the Syndicate transport. The transport escaped into Orkney and made it safely to Kirkwall while we were following it and the Colonials.
In Orkney, when the chase ended it turned into a rather long exchange of words and a strange discussion about dancing and friendship. We almost managed to convince one of them to hug one of the rocks, but sadly his comrades managed to avoid it. I'm sure the pictures would have been amusing. Meanwhile we had enough time to take a closer look at the colonial forces. They consisted of a gunboat, a bomber as well as two fighters while Captain Carrera arrived and we could field four Sabres.

Later on it ended, as expected, in an exchange of gunfire instead of words. Minor damage occured to our vessels, none went down. About the colonials, well let's keep it short:

The last one was allowed to retreat and deliver the message of their defeat to his superiors. In an unexpected move of intelligence he decided to do so and not to waste his ship in a hopeless combat. Afterwards Carrera and Xaero left us so Salieri and me continued the patrol alone. The Caltu're stayed at Kirkwall meanwhile to wait for a reduced colonial activity before continuing the trip to Liberty.
We continued our patrol towards Tau-29 and patrolled the asteroid fields near the trade lanes, observing the Kusari traffic and military strength in the area. Instead encountering larger amounts of the Kusari Naval forces we stumbled about some Kishiro Miners.

It seems the Kusari are feeling safe in the Taus these days considering the present amount of military. Apparently most of the military has been moved to the borders to Bretonia. Maybe we could use the situation and hit their supply lines to prevent them from turning on Tau-23 again soon.
Once we finished scouting the system we decided to move back towards Alpha as we received word about trouble with the gas miners in Beta. Even though our forces seemed to outnumber the enemy we decided to be not too far away if the tide would turn against us. But as soon as we had Malta on visual sight again our victorious forces returned from Beta. Meanwhile we received word from our Guards at Bastia about an (at that time) unregistered Battleship of the Maltese Navy in Omicron-85.

Said vessel turned out to be the MNS Malevolence. We were able to receive their comm-signal upon entering the system, just as stated in the reports from Bastia but didn't get any response to our hails and identification request. According to the recent entry of said ship into the Capital ship database and another encounter I assume someone just forgot to switch off the comms while the ship was moored with Corsica. I suggest to order an investigation about the incident though.
As we could do anything and the comm transmitter disappeared later on from the channels we decided to move on towards the Sigmas in scout into the gas miner controlled space. we jumped into Sigma-60 and there from to Sigma-59, expecting heavy resistance upon entering. Well, if we expected the Gas Miners to have an eye on their backdoor we got heavily disappointed. Nothing, no weapon platforms and no fighters right next to the jump hole. We then moved further into the system and at least encountered some minor patrols. As we could see a station in the distance we decided to take a closer look at it. Apparently the station is named Niigata and to our surprise had some Storage Depots right next to it.

It wasn't hard to decide what to do. the storages weren't defended very well so we disabled the surrounding weapons platforms first and then blew up the depots.

[Image: report10.th.jpg][Image: report11.th.jpg]
[Image: report12.th.jpg][Image: report13.th.jpg]

After doing so and filling our cargo hold with some additional fuel from the former storage depots we ventured even deeper into the system as we had spotted another station. upon approaching it we discovered a jump hole nearby. This time it was guarded by weapon platforms and the stations defence turrets.

We still decided to jump through and see what would be on the other side. We ended up in Sigma-19, not far away from the jump hole towards Beta.

as we had already arrived there we decided to proceed towards Sigma-13 and listen to some rumours on Yanagi, maybe we would find something of interest for us. Upon entering Sigma-13 we jumped right into an ongoing fight between one of our patrols and two gas miner wings.

Of course we assisted in the fight and destroyed the gas miners before proceeding towards Yanagi. I exchanged some words with the leader of the patrols, his name was Juan Carlos Buxo. He told me he had decided to had back towards Sigma-19 and then further towards Ruiz. Any further details about the fight we stumbled into might be found in their database, if needed.

Then we proceeded towards Yanagi as planned and stayed at the bar for a while, listen to what the junkers and other travellers had to tell us. Sadly we didn't find out much of interest except that a slave convoy passed by earlier heading for Malta. As we would be on overtime anyway once reaching Malta we decided to head back home and follow the convoy in case they would encounter any trouble on the way. We reached Ruiz without catching up and they confirmed that the convoy passed through safely so we decided to end our patrol and head back home. Upon reaching Malta I talked to the captain of a present battleship about his registration papers, pointing out a mistake in the call-sign and then docked at the planet after the captain promised me to take care of said issue.

---------------------

Now as promised the second report:

Right before I started to write these reports I docked after responding to an emergency call. We had a bounty hunter incursion in Alpha. When I arrived at the scene all I could see were 3 hunter bombers on the enemy side, but several capital class vessels on our side. the first comm signal I received originated from Manou Revida cursing at some obviously stubborn or deaf captains.

[06.12.2009 20:04:53] Manou.Revida[101st]: have you no ears? caps, cease fire

As none of the captains reacted as we expected them to do I backed Senor Revidas orders for the capital ships present, especially a destroyer with the call-sign "Garrett." as well as the Battleship "Galileo"

[06.12.2009 20:05:36] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Garret, you have been ordered to cease fire, don't risk our own ships
[06.12.2009 20:05:54] Manou.Revida[101st]: hombres, cease fire!
[06.12.2009 20:06:07] Manou.Revida[101st]: stop wasting precious cap recources
[06.12.2009 20:06:41] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Garret, I will pin your head on Maltas slave market personally if you keep disobeying orders
[06.12.2009 20:07:05] Manou.Revida[101st]: this is an outrage...
[06.12.2009 20:07:30] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: The same goes for the captain of the Galileo, cease fire, you idiots will blow up our own fighters
[06.12.2009 20:07:42] Manou.Revida[101st]: caps cease fire NOW

The Galileo finally reacted, ceased its fire and moved back towards Malta. The Garrett. however did not.

I decided to turn a faster end on the fight to be able to deal with this certain captain. Everything worth to be mentioned about the fight can bee seen in the following guncam shot.

afterwards I turned on the destroyer captain and reasoned with him. As it seems he wasn't able to respond to any comm attempts during the fight. the voice records about the conversation are attached. Even if he seemed to comply today I suggest to keep an eye on him.

[06.12.2009 20:15:55] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Alright, now that the situations is solved... Garret, we will have a word.
[06.12.2009 20:16:15] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: You were ordered to stay out of the fight, give me a good reason why you didn't comply?
[06.12.2009 20:17:07] Garrett.: out of the fight?
[06.12.2009 20:17:52] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: All capital ships were ordered to leave the fight, multiple times.
[06.12.2009 20:18:32] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Just tell me why you didn't left?
[06.12.2009 20:18:43] Garrett.: why left
[06.12.2009 20:19:30] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Because you are in a capital ship against a bunch of bombers. you are risking expensive outcast technology
[06.12.2009 20:19:42] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: And this is a job fighters should handle
[06.12.2009 20:20:07] Garrett.: yea ok, now i understand
[06.12.2009 20:20:09] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: not to mention that you are risking your allies who are in close combat with the enemies
[06.12.2009 20:21:58] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Next time spare your ship for bigger targets. And if you are receiving orders by the 101st I suggest to follow them
[06.12.2009 20:22:05] Garrett.: ok i do like gallileo, i remember next time
[06.12.2009 20:22:58] Nero.D'Ortona[101st]: Good to hear that, thanks for your cooperation

Furthermore I have to add that Captain Ryan Baker on the MNS-Malevolence actively backed the orders given by us. Captain Carrera who was also present talked to him about the necessary paperwork but as I can see his ship registered now I'm willing to think the incident before really was caused by a simple mistake.
Afterwards I checked my cargo hold to see what those Hunters might have brought along and discovered two spirits in my cargo hold, of course I plotted a course to Siniestre immediately and released them, leaving them there for their relatives to pick up.

Afterwards I headed back to Malta and docked to finally get my paperwork done. Reports are filled now. I have to admit, the last 24 hours were quite eventful for me.

Nero D'Ortona out.

:: incoming transmission ::

comm id: Manou Revida

message begins:

Hola.

Time for my first report. it will cover my activities so far. I always forget to file reports, so excuse the delay. also, my guncam recorder was broken for a while because I spilled some tequila over my controls when in a dogfight.

here goes.

merely 1 day or so after I joned the 101st Sails invaded Alpha together with some hunters. I hadn't flown a Sabre in a while so I was a bit rusty but I still amnaged to shoot down a bomber from the Sails and a hunter bomber as well.

my 2nd sortie took place in TAU 23 where some Colonials were being annoying. the 101st came out on top and I scored another kill.

Then later again in TAU 23 the Colonials got into a fight with the 101st, only this time they brought a carrier, the Rubicon. I was ordered to return to Alpha to send the Fa Belshia in to get rid of the carrier. I did just that. despite some weapon system errors and malfunctioning controls, the carrier was destroyed with medium damage done to the Fa Belshia. currently she is combat ready once more.

a few days later word came in that the corsairs were in Eta, attacking Siracusa. I went down there to see what was going on. it was a mess. our forces were disorganised and clumsy. running around like gaians with their heads cut off. this led to an unessecary defeat. especially because the Razorspine did the Sairs a favor by launching a cruise missle into a furrball with the following result.

me and my wingman, Blackbeard were facing off against 4 Titans in the end. I drew fire and Blackbeard managed to escape. I however lost my ship due to the non stop pelting of 4 Titans who were hell bent on getting me. have they no shame, those sairs? but I'll get em back, damn right I will...

Then followed the incident which D'Ortana has already reported. some small hunter craft invaded Alpha and were being attacked by e destroyer and a Sarissa.

I yelled at them to stop fire. but they didn't listen. after a while the Sarissa finally ceased fire. but the Storta kept fiiring. he was dealt with, as you have already read.

also, I have been told that every pilot gets an official Ghost of Razgriz teddybear upon joining. I have not yet received mine. can it be send to me asap? gracias.

Manou Revida

end of message.

I launched from Malta and found that Lieutenant Commander Brand Garrison was already waited me at Malta's orbit. I received a message from Bastia about unknown vessels which entered Omicron 85. Sure, me and Brand came to check it. I docked with Bastia and took Duca.d'Aosta under my command. I asked them about their business in Omicron 85 more than more than 5 times, but they didn't answer to me. Well, when Duca arrived to Corsica I got a contact with them.. One of them was an Outcast, another one an independent Pirate flying under Outcasts colors. Both were in Tridentes. Look like an Outcast transfered guns from Corsica to this indie Pirate. I told them to stop it and leave Corsica/Omicron 85. But they didn't answer anything again and started to ran.
Sure, they had no chance against Duca. Crew opened fire as soon as these two were in range.
First of them was down in Omicron 85. There is a guncam shots.

We caught another one in Alpha and destroyed him too:

After it Duca returned to Bastia. I took my Sabre and returned to Malta. After this incident in Omicron 85 Siracusa & Ibiza reported about Sails| striking force. Few bombers and Titans as escort. All capitals ships on Maltase orbit were ordered to stay out of fight or to dock. But independents commanders didn't listen to my orders. Few Corsairs bombers made some damage to our capitals, before they docked.
After it Sails| lost few ships and ran away.

After it I ended my duty and returned to my villa.

[Re: Efficiency.]

Good day pilots.

The experiment started so long ago is due to enter a new phase. Admiral Dejesus believed that the best trial for [our systems would be to usurp all administrative duties] as well as [50%] of the Command and Control functions previously handled by the Corsica mainframe. If successful this experiment should result in a [32.7%] increased efficiency in ship production, weapon manufacturing but also result in much swifter computing aboard our starships due to the integration of [our superior computing devices].

[Our] agenda remains the same, as does our laws and no officers will be demoted as a result of this change.

More details will be revealed later when [our] computer link has been merged with the Corsica mainframe.

Greetings senors. I sent all day abroad on Duca d'Aosta near Corsica.
Well, it was quite unusual.
First target was Zoner Whale, named "Cetus", undocking from Corsica.
To tell the truth I was shocked. He told me that just brought a ship hull planes to Corsica but well.. marines from Duca captured his ship and deleted all the information about Corsica and Omicron 85. I escored him to Omicron Alpha jumphole.
The second one was a Tridente called "Patrol27". His ID was an Outcast, but I don't belive that he a a Meltese. He spoke to me like a Sair.
And I destroyed him in front of Corsica.
Than traitor "Crazy" came to Omicron 85 and tried to dock with Corsica too. Duca guns destroyed his gunboat enough fast.
I gave an access to dock with Corsica to pilote "Fireborn". He looked for a Nova torpedo for his bomber. As soon as he mount it he left Omicron 85 without any troubles.

Yesterday, we found a Zoner called "FrBCocq_Research-Center". He is flying a Zoner Juggernaut known as a Flying Freeports. He told to senora Esmeralda Chavez that he is a reseaching "Nomads". I got some screens of his cargo senors... well, it shocked us.

While I called for a Dies support Zoner ran to Freeport 10 and screamed about Freeports NFZ.

Wneh I told him that it doesn't matter for me.... and he docked.
Anyway, he should keep our eyes on him.

For Malta!

Alberto Carrera out.
