Nice. I play my LPI like that since a bit of time, my bounty hunter as well.
Now where is the benefit to work with others?
I see it only as bad potential metagaming leak.
Can you tell who are you and what this faction offers more then my casual fooling around with trusted people while doing such things?

Official faction players that are often accused of elitism, never deploy them and have those weird, immersion killing "fair fight/dueling" suicidal hobbies. (yes, i've seen enough of those lolduels, where house military with overwhelming force on the field willingly loses a pilot in a duel. ffs.)

A new faction in Liberty with a slightly unusual basis, mostly intended to annoy people (at least inRP), push the rules and probably prey on new players? Sounds like Spazzy...

Let's hope others can have fun interacting with you, but at the very least the Xenos and Hellfire Legion will have some true corruption to smite.

No, I wrote up the first post, but the idea itself is from a friend of mine, who plays FL with me. He has a thing about the police and corruption and all that good stuff.

As for preying on new players, I doubt that. It would be preying on everyone.

If done reasonably, this can be pretty cool.

I remember other "police" examples... like... "Your rearlight is broken. 5 million, please.. ehm... sil'vou... you know what. And go fix it before we catch you again."

"Why? Because we are badass corrupt police, hurrhurr!" rp and that was definitely not cool. And... it failed. The faction is gone, the house empty as always.

Or don't we remember having "self-declared police" demand the dropping of ore in the last lane before selling point? Did not go well in the end, though. Another case of failed legal piracy.

Let's see how you do.
One can stay out of Liberty easily, anyway, in case it is just "legal harrassment/unlawfulness without irp consequences - reloaded, part 4"

And this is the reason we do not want to use a tag. This would allow more freedom, allowing more people to join in on it without worrying that their actions may frak up a new group. No, go make ships, use the guidelines and have fun. If you feel like doing this with someone, we will throw you into a groupchat with us, it is that easy.

As for the RP specifics, it is up for the individual to figure out how far they should go. If they fail, it is for them to try again with the needed adjustments in their actions. Again, this is an attempt to play an ID very close to its limits and the server rule limits for the sake of some unique RP out of it. How it goes will depend on the people involved.

Well, the RP is not unique. Corrupt police has been done multiple times, but playing on the edge of the limitations enforced by the ID and server rules combined is still fun and thrilling in its own way.
