Well there's two ways you could have fixed this or kepted from it. First to if you are trying to recruit people generally first ask if they liked star trek or star wars more on the star trek side. When I say a guy play this I thought its just like star trek Secondly it seems that you showed your friend your game and he tried it out but after a bit made fun of the RP. And you got mad. So when he showed you his game you made fun of it and he got mad. So generally he made the first mistake but he is younger and you are older so you why make the same mistake as him? So to fix if you need to still fix your relationship go play something out side of computer games. like baseball, golf, etc etc

I am just a bit sad that my friend (class mate) left disco and FL.
He was just new to discovery, i made cash for him as a no problem.
I told him to mine my ship and i sell it the ores.He did like that.
Then 1 day he told me that theres no fun in FL, maybe i should leave.
I encouraged him and brought him back, i gave him a Pirate Sabre so he might have fun.
But he wasn't an expert PvP player.Nor he knewed how to RP.So he just shoot npcs and die by them.When ever i bring my ship also, he just die by npcs and respawns at colorado or some far system,
I didn't under stood how to train a new player on Disco.
Teaching RP is just too difficult.Even i learned RP after my first 7 months on Disco.
So this happens for a week.The guy was acutally on Roblox.com
He always says its nice than FL etc because he have fun there.
He asked me to come roblox, but i don't like kids type games.Finally i went checked and refused.Q.Q started between us.Next day he deleted FL.
I tried to get him back but he said that he won't come.Roblox is far and much better than FL.It have millions of people and is way too hard and this and that.
I got annoyed and angry.I fought him on SKYPE and i was angry.
So he finally left, i also before he left asked him that i come 1 day on roblox and i didn't go next time because of no RP and stupid kids games there.
Now hes not coming back at all cost.


Now i wanted to hire my friends (class mates) but you guys do know that how now a days every one just like super voice games, racing or GTA Vice City and san and reas type games.I gave them FL in CD, they installed and try to play FL Champion but because of it's movies they quit it and just made fun of it.
They don't even under stood any thing about FL, they said it's just like Chicken Invaders.

Now i just don't get it, how can i recruit people to FL and then how i train them for Disco ?

I have the same question. Looks like Freelancer is too tough for new players who used to play in FPS or something.

Freelancer is not that tough i am the guy who have been playing this game from more then 5 years but its not like that i dont play others games i also play tons of games COD,MAFIA,GTA,NFS,Metal gear,CS1.6 and many more Its like what kind of taste the player got its like a player who play DOTA wont be suitable for 1st person game he will say what is this i am dead in seconds i better go play other game....

They need to learn the Game Campaign mode is for them to learn if they play it its nice for them how ever very few people got any interest in Alien or Space ship fighting games i told many of my friends too but i made them watch videos on youtube the very few good videos which encourage's the new players to play the game

On your thing If your friend really dont like it after playing it then its not your fault its his taste....like what ever you like to eat your friend wont eat that also......so let it go what i say or maybe when he get bored of that game he might come back i also took some long break on Fl like an year no game and after that its again the same interest as the start of the new game

Omg. Cool story bro. You can pay him per played hour- it always works.

In other words- let him be, it is a game and it is supposed to be for fun not a job- if one have no fun playing it you have no right to bother him with your stuff.,
