They're launching their new website today, along with a 24 hour livestream. The new website should have plenty of new gameplay videos and other excellent/cool nonsense for you to check out and play around with.
Furthermore, with the website comes a 7 day countdown for one to pick up a current-price buyin pledge with LTI without relying on someone who is an original backer (prior to nov of last year) to grandfather them in at the reduced price.
If you've been on the fence about Star Citizen it might be worth checking them out again in a few hours, once the website comes back up

I thought that devs said they will release SC in autimn(after summer, before winter) of 2014
From what I read before, those who have pledged money will get access to play the first Alpha and Beta demo's of the game before the general public get their hands on it.

Indeed, also 100-200 € HOTAS Joystick is must in order to play proper, combined with expensive hardware. They kinda lost me at the moment with the PvP slider- the rest is quite ok.
We would test we would see.
Also if one wants to buy the game and haven't done it, now seems quite good time to do so: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/aurora
This is good offer compared with the ones when they had less then 1 mio in their account.
