Mounted on VHFs or Bombers, the difference between the two is very slight.

Noted. Where are you going with this? I ask because it's not readily appaerent to me and, if you have insight it may help.

If you have time can you please elaborate, or was that just a FYI post, in which case, thanks.

Got another question? Lawful and unlawful. Isn't there the lovely gray area that many people work in today? To be so black and white seems unrealistic. (I know it's science fiction) I only ask this because I saw a player, and I dont know them I dont think, be fined and rep altered for docking on lawful planet while being unlawful. If this is the case how do smugglers operate, and why do they have to have that tag? In fact I want a cannibal tag and I want to see how many will come home with me. I only say this because it seems that subterfuge is almost negated in this game and, I wanted opinions on it. I understand pirates would still have their IDs as sort of flying your "gang colors" sort of thing.

Smugglers are lawlful people who smuggle illegal things. Like Cardamine, Artifacts, etc, etc.

While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack

Doesn't this make you unlawful? If not wouldn't a trader ID suffice?

Here's another good question:
If I find Liberty high level weapons sold on a Junker base, can I mount them on a Junker character? Because, if I can't then it sort of defeats the point for them being there. No lawful would dock with Rochester of all bases to get a Liberator. If it's in Rochester it is there for at least the Junkers to use, amirite?

you cannot - see, there are order weapons on the BHG bases, but ppl get sanctioned for buying / using them. so you must not use whatever you find - but rather what is appropriate.

Quite, thanks for clearing that up. But if the rules are as such, shouldn't said inappropriate weapons be removed from these bases in the future? People are definitely getting the wrong idea, I mean look at the limitless numbers of BHG caps with order weapons on them. It speaks for itself in my opinion.

Another good question is: can I, with a Junker ID, dock at lawful bases? Heck do I know if a Junker ID is an exception to that rule, because Junkers are like.. semi-unlawful. How is it?

Situational is the key, take my RepEx Characters for instance, Well, Black Talon Division, I have a few codename weapons I scavenged, as well, as some outcast weapons I snatched out of space after taking out a couple bundh pilots. Shields and Armor upgrades were found in the Halle System, which is the Rhienland Police Guard system. And for a While I flew A GMG Stinger...an Interesting combo, but the more I thought of it, I highly doubted the corporate brass would left the GMG fighter pass by unnoticed, especially by the Rhienland Military, and so Returned to the Wrath, and got rid of the Outcast weapons and went more Traditional.

and in my opinion, why CANT a BH use Order weapons, or Outcast weapons or anyone elses weapons, I am sure they have taken out a few ships here and there, been able to look at some weapons, make some upgrades...It would make perfect sence to me to see a BH ship outfitted with a wide variety of weapons from all sectors of Sirius. Same with the Mercs or Freelancers. But then Again, Have a story to back it up.

Buy me a beer and Ill tell you mine

Yeah for stuff that is way out there it should be RP'd, a good RP story forgives a number of sins. A bad RP story does not

Which reminds me, must finish my RP stories

I have asked a question of one of the admins and, it has not been answered yet. Now I must confess I did this in a sanction thread because the question I had resulted from what I learned there. I saw a player get sanctioned for docking on a lawful planet, while be unlawful. Now in that particular instance I can think of no defence for him since he was a Corsair docking on New Berlin but, there may be a RP reason that could OK that. Anyway I digress, My question is Why can't say a Independent Pirate be a criminal in one nation and law bideing in another? For example, say I want to rob Kusari blind but then I want to legally sell goods in Britonia? Would I be sanctioned? Is this right? Can't people be law bideing in one country and a career criminal in another? Was he banned only because of his circumstance or is it a blanket punishment that is not exsamined?

Isn't the world and thus the supposed future of our race less black and white than this? Is there a gray?

Thoughts please.
