Having backread, you were both wrong.

"We agreed to a duel, get lost", is pretty abrasive for OOC-speak, not really a nice way to convince somebody -not- to jump in.

On the other hand, Reid, you should have just "walked away", so to speak.

What Kev/GrnRaptor is definitely accurate.

This thread is not Flood, and it is ideally, not a place where people should argue back and forth with one another.

SothaSil -- It pays to be polite, not everyone responds well to blunt words.

Official faction or not, [LN] members are still human.

Not much of a problem on this photo, but both of you do seem grouchy.

Bit of a gap between this image and the previous one.
Anyway, although Safe Haven admittedly isn't being nice here, you are indeed raging at him. If you were more calm then it might have been different.

Almost the same screen as the last one, just showing another line. Sotha, you could be a little bit more calm yourself.

This one, yeah, Safe Haven went a little out of line.
However, given your previous accusatory tone, I doubt his punishment will be severe at all.

Exact same screen as the one above.
Quote:Why so mad? Also, I don't like being called a jerk for just a single, harmless sentence.
He's a little mad, sure, but it was mainly provoked by you because you kept going instead of ending the conversation after his first set of responses.
Quote:Then actually take a look at the stuff and deal with the impolite behaviour of your members.
Stuff has been checked over. We will look into this impolite behavior, but as I stated earlier, I doubt he'll get into much trouble.

PS - Was just about to post when Safe Haven sent me his DSAce. If any of it does not match what you have, let us know.

These logs reinforce what I've already said. Yeah, I'll agree that Safe Haven can be a bit impolite, and we'll talk to him about being more chill. But again, you did provoke him here.

Enough.

The moral of the story is that both of you (Sotha, Reid.) could've handled this better, oh well, no big deal.

Brush it off and move on, this isn't elementary school, nothing particularly serious happened, handle it better next time.

Please, thank you.

Yes, I provoked him. No, I was not raging.
Also, it's Liberty. If a simple "get lost" is considered aggressive, you're doing something wrong.
Anyway, thanks for your time and taking care of this.

I'd like to thank the [LN] for showing up in Bremen earlier today, unfortunately I wasn't available to lead the [RM] forces or make sure they're present but I am grateful for the effort.

It's nbd, I might not be much of one for paperwork but I've been trying to get people ingame and do more stuff lately. Before you suggest it however, I'm not really interested in events. They never work out, and in my opinion take away from the feel of the game sort of.

Looking forward to shooting you soon!

Hiya, since having a chat in game about resolving issues that could result in grudges and bad blood between our players didn't go so well, I'm going start using the faction feedback.

There have been multiple instances (including today) of [LN] ships flying from Hamburg through "classified" Rheinland Military/MND guard space in the Westerwald next to Schatten in Frankfurt. If you do not know already, that space is analogous to your Zone 21, Alaska, and Virginia all rolled into one. I've heard from certain folks in the [LN] that such things were justifiable since one of our BDM| ships had an incident of flying into Virginia once, in July of last year - something that has been apologized for and not repeated since.

It would also be appreciated if [LN] ships stopped raiding Rheinland Core systems, and instead used the more appropriate =LSF= ships. The same folks that I spoke to told me that [LN] ships doing so is fine, since the =LSF= is dying, and because the [RM] and the BDM| can't control its indies. I hope that this isn't the sentiment in the [LN] leadership, for the obvious reasons.

I'm going to go out on a limb again and ask that we have a dialogue between players, since our inRP faction conflicts seem to be bleeding over into actual grudges. It's something that would be nice to fix, since even enemy factions can have players cooperating to make the game more fun for everyone.

The Liberty Navy [LN], does not generally raid past Hamburg.

Yes there have been instances where [LN] ships have been seen in New Berlin, this is not common. You say that the [LN] moved further than Hamburg/Bremen today? Which ships? What character names? I certainly wasn't made aware of such an occurrence.

As for your suggestion to use =LSF= ships?....That's an =LSF= problem, not an [LN] one. The =LSF= has an entirely different "mission" than that of the [LN], and as far as I know, it doesn't involving frontline -combat- operations.

Also, I'd like to address a potential issue that arose during a battle in Texas between the [LN] and a BDM| ship.

[LN]-Sarah.Shepard didn't issue an engagement notice, of that I'm sure you're aware. The player behind that character has been in the [LN] for all of three or four days at the most, we have spoken to the player and given them guidance so as to avoid issues like this in the future.

Speaking in an abrasive manner to my people in game, is not really a good way to fix problems like this.

Seeing as this is NOT the =LSF= Feedback thread, you're asking the wrong people.
