Alright, I installed it, runs perfectly well on a 9300GE. But I couldn't help but notice that Planet Manhattan is now a lop-sided version of Earth.

If you have time, since no one else reports crashes with those files, can you reinstall with a fresh copy of discovery and see if it persists?

Sorry about the delay. I crash on any instance with those ast_* files. One Radeon, one nVidia. I can try and get a procmon dump to see if that will tell me the problem file if you like.

For some reason my game crashes every time I enter a char.
If you use Raptr, turn it off, it helped me.

Update: This one might be on me. I downloaded a fresh copy of the pack, noticed that the modified date on the files I was mentioned was 8/3/2009. When I checked the files I had been trying to use, the modified date was 6/7/2013, i.e. when I downloaded it. Perhaps some checksum was going wrong because the modify date was off. I'll post back after I check on all my computers that were having issues.

The content I used is in the OP, so I don't think so. I'm using Hrimthur's and Radiant's textures with Hunor's starspheres basically.
