Ahh that makes more sense.
Well , I imagine it like being a actor in a movie or theater play.
Only , there's no viewers part from your fellow actors.
This requires a lot of empathy both to your own role and to the roles of those you encounter.
Also , since there is no pre written script , you have to make swift decisions based on the knowledge you have about your surroundings and background.
Disco was a good training ground for (part of my) real life job now , as a representative of a company you have to be aware of what the other person expects from you , and you have to try to present yourself as close as possible to that image.
Hope that's a good example....
It's like you are trying to take somebody's place and dont want to get caught, so you do what they would normally do, and dont draw attention to yourself by being outrageously different
Good one indeed, madvillain. But a bit incorrect. There are pre written script, and we see it as ID. This thing oblidge us to act in some specific way toward other players. Of course, we can do it in our own special way, but the way we take other caracters mostly depends on our affiliation.

Well, basically it's all and the same... Still, some people don't play in accordion with their faction... like, some people put their definion of RP above pvp, even though that ID... dunno... have to pvp. I wanna hear from such kind of people as well
