Well, the distance isn't too far from a base in the Omicrons, is it? If you know what's the 'fastest' and 'safest' route or can distract yourself / chat on the way, it doesn't take as long as you'd think.

Also, I see Marduk as a huge RP platform where you can do awesome stuff with. Considering the PvP aspect, if you use it correctly (aka use its strengthes properly instead of letting the enemy use your weakness), then you shouldn't have too much of a problem. Maybe the above is your problem with it, but that's not for me to decide.

So that every Nomad snub raid can still be wtf-ganked by 3 Order, 5 AI and 3 Zoner cruisers. Smile

I only dock my ships when my equipment is about to fall off.
Normally I f1 somewhere and get my bots from NPCs or via roleplay.

Well, the admins insist that cruisers and battleships will not be available to public nomad ID. Sometime ago I did ask them to grant access to at least a cruiser, but they disagreed. So go ahead, try to convince them.

The Irra and Marduk are restricted because their the 'elders' of the nomads RP, it would be just stupidity to give a 'elder' ship out without RP, look at the Aurora, that took some mass RP for her to get a 'duk but yet even so she still needed the K'Hara ID to fly it. And I'm going to throw a number out, at most the only max number of duks on this server is between 3-6. and the Irra is the same because its a older 'shell' for the nomads. same story for it

Let's clarify something else here, too, that both Hone and Tel-Aviv have wrong.

The Nomads / K'Hara have a working tractor beam - it's just not the same as a human one.

The one you ***hard-skins : soft-minds*** have will work while you're flying around, and tractor stuff in from a long distance away while you're moving fast.

The one we have works at ranges of less than 300 meters, and you pretty much have to be sitting still relative to the target.

Thus, my Irra sitting somewhere in New York has two choices to refill - move to our 'secret' base (Tau 117) a few systems away, which is doable or just sit along a trade lane and shoot lots of NPC's. The advantage to shooting NPC's is that it ALSO allows me to tractor in assorted pilots / VIP's that I can trade for additional bots/bats when a player shows up.

I know nomads have that tiny tractor beam, thats why I said they have an unusable one, rather than "they dont have one".
