Hone, I fail to understand why a "Your idea does not fit lore, we are sorry, will you please either revise or drop the idea before it fails" is being negative.
He posted as a general discussion to the K'Hara of this idea. He obviously was asking for feedback, or he would not have put it here. And he got just that. Its the honest opinions of people who know of the subject he is dealing of. 'it will not work'
Just because you don't get your way doesn't mean its being negative or mean.

He's trying to build a weapon to control the nomads and now that he knows he cant he will act like he can change the lore itself?
Really what did you think was going to happen? The K'Hara are not that easily controlled and now none the less someone is building a weapon of a kind to control us?
Who's more right or wrong here? The person trying to control the nomads or the nomads telling him to check his information first?
I dont deny Tel made a mistake, but it was rudely thrown at himby some, some did reasonably try to help him:

But the end result remains.
In-game would mean holding&controling a nomad vessel remotely ( since they dont have cockpit seats ) - similiar as to how the big hybrids control the small ones, you might say that it is an attempt to hack the mindshare. Liquid comes handy because, it might weaken the subject, or kill its.. "free will".
I may add, this is pretty much impossible.
You better have it very well made in order for this to be considered, you can't control a nomad and there are plenty of reasons of 'why' you can't.
Hybrids are a different case, as they physically are not the same as everyone else. An organic compound of the system, which the nomad mindshare does NOT reject. Even the hybrids do not control large 'vessels'.
As for liquid cardimine? Sure, go ahead and try to weaken it. When it gets stronger and rips away from your clutches, don't come crying to us.
Details please!

It seems you haven't done your homework at all and simply went with a contradictory assumption on a wishful thinking. I know well this will be denied.
(Before the posts were editied to make it nicer, though I suppose thats a good thing)
As for the idea itself I see no reason why it couldnt work other than nomad players powergaming desire to be able to control others with their nomads, but have the nomads unable to be controlled.
Sure Tel shouldnt be allowed to just go around going haha I control you now, the controlled nomad would have to oorp agree. But you guys shan't say "its impossible for anyone to ever control nomads cos we say so" either.
And yes, now that hes going "haha I know the lore better than you," hes being stupid, but thats cos you've offended him.
