That would not work. The whole term "Bass hunters" is not an ingame or in-rp one. It exists purely on the forums and skype to simply name a group of organized people, who use their caps to smite POBs.

You say your motive is to decrease the number of POB's in Disco, but then you start selling fully loaded construction plats? Why? To make sure the Server doesn't run out of POB's for you to frag? This is madness, you can't just take it upon yourselves to police the Server's POB's. That's an admin right, not yours.

This is not madness, this is genius. True criminal RP.

1- Blow up bases
2- Charge to not blow up bases
3- Offer construction of bases
4- More bases to blow up
5- More money to earn from racketeering

Sounds like legitimate criminal RP to me.

This makes alot of sense now... its funny because bass hunters seem to be a terrorist faction out of the game and in skype chats and fourms, because tons of people a scared of them.

Might doesn't "make right", nor does it give you the responsibility to use that might however you see fit. The fact that IMG could easily frag every trader coming into Tau 23 doesn't mean they do, because it wouldn't make any Rp sense.

It seems like if I merely mention "roleplay", people (namely a certain number of them within the 20 to 30 range, possessing a vast number of capital ships) shut down. Yay.

No, might does make right. Just in our case we do not hide our intentions behind BS roleplay. That's the whole point.
That is how Disco works.


And I remember quite well when we used to keep pirate alts in Tau 23 to frag the very ore haulers that paid us and sell off the ore for 50% more profit. Completely in RP because we used pirate chars.

This is pretty much the same only without the whole RP facade. Let people see how Disco works.

I will say spazz is honest about it at this point...

They could have been much dooshier, and never mentioned anything about it on the forums, and just kept silently blowing up bases.

At least we know what they're up to. For what it's worth, after supplying a base by myself for about a week cuz peeps r quitting left and right these days....I was glad to see it go.

That is how Disco works.

You always fail to see that this is how you make Disco work for yourself. You ignore that this is a game that you play with each other. Being a bored, misanthropic troll and acting like a 10 year old kid who loves to destroy sandcastles and look at the tears afterwards doesn't make Disco the way you want it to work.

It is you and your group that shapes Disco. And you do not promote it in any way that is conducive to the gaming experience of the majority (but you do not care, we know by now).

You do realize I just did not stop at some point during my 5 years on Disco and went ''fuggit''. I learned it from the peeps playing at the time. This has been done for years, but it took me until 85 when i ragequit and came back as an indie to actually notice the amount of bullshait fed to the general community.
